Why is that show called Who wants to be a Millionaire when you have to pay taxes in the USA and therefore don‘t walk out with 1 million dollar? Misleading title lol Here in Germany you don‘t pay taxes on winnings of such shows.

Thanks for uploading, this is a really great episode. Bernie is what you'd consider a perfect guest for a show like this, he's intelligent, has personality, and knows how to joke with Regis. It seemed like he was just here to have fun and wasn't that nervous.

Interesting trivia: On Bernie's $500,000, "simoom" refers to a hot wind, usually covered with sand (basically winds you'd find in the Arabian desert); "string theory" is a concept in physics, and is occasionally the titular "theory of everything" (I have no idea how it works, though); and "saprobity" connects to toxic waste and when matter decays.

It sure was NICE that 69% said 'N' (I also knew it was N). Point being, any question for $1,000,000 that nearly 70% of the audience chooses correctly with 4 choices is probably not a $1,000,000 level question.

@Bryce Jowett "N" numbers aren't so-named for being "non-military." The registration prefix system comes from before the era of aircraft registrations, and is based on the international radio call-sign system established in 1913.

Exactly! Or maybe you should ask the audience to vote for one of the two gone answers if they don't know the answer for sure. Then you can compare the percentages of the two remaining answers, but the risk is that almost no one votes for these answers.

U seemed like an "obvious" choice if someone makes a connection between "U" and 'United States" perhaps. But I also thought this was on the easier side for an MDQ as well. An MDQ probably shouldn't get that kind of a majority when the audience is asked
