Constance Tipper was an extraordinary #materialscientist who solved the mystery of cracking #libertyships during #WorldWar2 and created the '#TipperTest', still in use today.
Emily has also created an exciting new display in the Department of Materials, celebrating Constance's groundbreaking research and telling us more about her life 🎉
