Puma was so beautiful ❤️ and such an amazing performer. Interesting fact: The Ras Cudjoe who introduced Puma to Duckie was mentioned in the first verse of Guess Who's coming to dinner. Hes the Rasta who was coming over the hills. Youre welcome 😊

Wow. Thank you so much for making this tribute. As a young teenager in England in the early 80s I was obsessed with Black Uhuru, and to this day they are my favourite ever group. That classic line up of Michael, Duckie and Puma is the greatest ever BH incarnation, and it was Puma's harmonies that really made it so. They turned out some incredible music between 1978 and 1983, and I doubt they would ever have stood out the way they did without the dimension that Puma added. She was the coolest female musician I had ever seen. I was also lucky enough to see the classic line up live in 1984, a memory I will treasure for the rest of my life. Today Jah 9 reminds me of Puma with her confidence and ability, and I have always wondered if she was inspired by her. RIP Sandra Jones, and thank you for those many hours of musical enjoyment you gave me when I was growing up.

Very good!! Surprising! Women in Reggae really bring it. What amazing songs, yes prad vocals would have been great. Did they simply not sell as many records as the Stones or the Police. Some groups, you think the labels could recognize greatness and nurture them. 36 is so young 😢. Never Forget!!

Love you too mi lioness ❤️💛💚Thanks I'm glad you liked it. Puma was incredible, a truly wonderful lady. Wow, you're a producer! That's awesome. I've been a huge fan of the music for as long as I can remember. I'm based in Nigeria and come from a long line of music connoisseurs. I got into reggae at six years old when two of my coolest uncles who had lived in the UK for ages came back with LOTS of reggae records from the 60s - 70s. I was always at their homes enjoying the best of the golden age of reggae and sometimes wrecked their record players in the process 😅 Reggae was and still is like the soundtrack of my childhood and life. I also loved history a lot so I decided to use this channel to share my passion with everyone. Thanks for staying tuned and supporting what I love so much. There's a lot more to come ✌️ Jah bless
