Who was Tamar? According to biblical testimony, Tamar was a beautiful young woman, daughter of King David. She was sweet and kind, with a pure heart, but unfortunately had her life ruined by an act of dishonor and violence committed by her own brother, Amnon.
This traumatic event of abuse brought deep and lasting consequences. In addition, the social stigma associated with abuse certainly affected the self-esteem of young Tamar and her ability to form healthy relationships in the future.

NO!!!!! & There's much more abuse & suffering inflicted upon Tamar that none of her family in the church & within the immediate family ever want us all to know!!!! Our ""BOXED BIBLES"" do NOT give all the details & the whole Story Yet, of her horrific sufferings she endured from so many ppl & also directly from the King daddy himself!! GOD is so Merciful, Kind & wants not, for all ppls to have scarred minds & heart's, that would become so broken with their spirit also becoming crushed & a Lifetime of irreversible damage to bear like Tamar .

Violated by her brother and abandoned by her father. Damn. Women back then didn't have rights. They were treated more like property than anything else. An innocent life, needlessly ruined by lust and the saddest part is that there was no light at the end of the tunnel for her. She was forced to live in disgrace and ultimately died in abject despair.

But there could be a double standard with that considering the fact that if you look at the story of Ruth, she married Naomi's son and her husband died but then she moved to Bethlehem with Naomi and married Boaz and they were blessed given that Ruth was a moabite
