We have an electric kettle and we have tea every night before bed. Also, we do have TV that is broadcast via signal. Some folks have antennas that will pick up local broadcast stations. We call those antennas “rabbit ears”.

FYI Matt I'm Canadian and in Canada and the USA we have electric kettles where you add water and flip the switch unless someone chooses to use an old fashioned one similar to the copper one that you showed us.🥰❤❤ Edited: What barbarians make their tea 🍵 or coffee ☕️ in a microwave?? 😮😂

My Mum had those spoons - hand-me-downs 😂 My Gran had that hen thing too - she didn't use it for eggs. Those squares are bath cubes I think - my Nan had loads of them 👍🏼

Just to clear up the kettle debacle lol, we Americans DO have electric kettles and we also have digital cable. Matter of fact we have what's called Fiber Optics which is all underground so we don't have those ugly cable wires running from our homes. Just thought I'd let ya know lol! We love ya Matt, keep making us laugh!!

Okay, sorry I have to correct you. I live in Canada. Born and raised in the UK so know all about cuppas. There are indeed kettles the way you know them out here, Canada and America. Plenty of them all different brands and makes, that are electric and all you have to do is fill 'em with water and flick that switch! Thing is coffee is the drink of choice for the majority in the mornings and you are more likely to see a coffee maker, Keurig or otherwise on the kitchen side than a kettle. Me? I have both!

Yes, Matt. I have had kettles. You plug them in the wall, boils the water. Then you pour the water into the teapot. You can have instant coffee instant soup, but we have electric kettles. Then we have tea pots. Which you put on the stove that whistle. It doesn't bother me. I'm not mad. How could I get mad at you Matt.❤😊 You're so cute.

We do have proper kettles in the US now. But they are recent. When I lived in Bedfordshire in 1987-1990, I had a proper electric kettle we nicknamed it Chernobel. I do miss it. I really enjoyed living in your country.

I collect antique rugs, they can be worth thousands of dollars, yet all these abandoned houses and no one ever shows them well. My house is expensive just in the antique Persian rugs I own..lol We have electric kettles?, I have a vintage really gorgeous one.

Hey hey, how cool was the grotto. We have one in Werribee Mansion here in Victoria, Melbourne. The walls are covered with shells but we can’t get in anymore. It’s like one of two left in Australia. We still have Ariel tv here too but we don’t watch it here, the family and I mostly watch YT but most things are the same here as they are in the videos I’ve seen of the uk. Only major difference seems to be that we have actual laundry rooms and our washers are not in the kitchen. That’s just weird for me 😂

Idk if you’ll have icy hot, tiger balm etc over there but probably worth carrying a small first aid kit and icy hot/patches. At least antibacterial and a couple bandaids. Still love the channel. Stay safe you two 🙂

20:40 Now it's interesting that you mention that being for eggs, cause if that was here in america, it'd get used for anything but. Everyone here has to refrigerate store bought eggs because they are washed before put up for sale, and will go bad pretty quickly if left out.
