We're learning more about Thomas Crooks, the man who tried to assassinate Donald Trump. Crooks was a high school student when he appeared in an ad for an investment company. Inside Edition found video of Crooks on his high school Facebook page, explaining computer coding to another student. Crooks' high school years were troubled, according to one former peer. Jason Kohler says Crooks was rejected by the school's rifle team.

I don't know why the media always reports this. I also grew up in violence and bullying when I was a child. I saw the dark side of most of my classmates, so I won't target just one person, because I am disappointed with most people, and I do have some thoughts in my mind. But I am Chinese and live in China. So you don't have to worry.

I would thank them for rejecting me..but I also remembered feeling bad when I wasn't able to play table tennis and such when other kids could do it and they weren't interested to teach me as I was the little one..or probably someone who could not or should not learn .I was better off looking cute alone and others pressing my cheeks for fun or to extract sweetness from my cuteness...my body....it felt slightly offensive to me to be treated that way and not as someone who could and should learn things or at least give it a try. I really feel for this guy..bullies should be taught lessons..I do think school authorities should be put to question or court for doing nothing about bullying..Isn't it so common with people that commit either suicide or murder? I feel so terribly sad for him. We don't help ourselves, or others, by this constant nagging bullying. It's grinding and wears people down. I had it for 5 years at school. It followed me to two schools. I never thought about hurting anyone but I did want to just run away. Loyalty to home and a nice family kept me grounded and I toughed it out, but Thomas wasn't so lucky. It makes me feel sad for how lonely and isolated he must have been, turning eventually to wild stunts to carve his name out. And he ended up targeting innocents, notably poor Corey, who didn't deserve any of this. This act was so messed up, Thomas was messed up. But as I say, we don't cover ourselves in glory when we bully others mercilessly through schools and the workplace. People should know when to back off.
