I dispise the term "who wears the pants" because it's a idiom from a patriarchal society, in a hetero relationship, if the man wears the pants, its seen as right, if a woman does, than people strip away the masculinity of the man by relentlessly teasing, so it's really just a sexist thing, in a gay relationship, those implications are still there, even though they manifest differently, for instance the belief that a "butch" lesbian should be more in command, or the "top" gay should be more in command, which allows lbgtq youth to be left in abusive relationships because they are buying into a stereotype and have no one to talk to. So I really like where you guys ended on that, thanks! Also, in a good relationship, why would anyone want to be wearing pants. That was much longer than I meant it to be. And more preachy. Whoops.

While I think the question is ignorant I generally give people a pass because the conversation has started. To rid ignorance you must gain knowledge. If you are coming to the table with a simple question as to "who wears the pants" then I am just happy that you are at the table. Now we can strike a healthy conversation that may open your eyes more about LGBTQ community and human rights as a whole. By the time you and I leave the table, I hope we both have a better understanding of each other. Being able to show people that relationships are just really human interactions and that placing titles and confining people to only one way isn't necessary right or fare. For the most part, after I have had this conversation with people, they end up leaving saying, "I never thought of it like that" and that is rewarding to me. Great Vlog! Enjoyed it!
