I feel like Kinger would be the least likely to abstract because he has been there the longest and still has not been abstracted. And his brain is so fried that I don’t think he can abstract.

I think the most likely to abstract first is Ragatha. The fact she's been the main focus out of all the other human characters apart from Pomni in my opinion means we will be the most attacted to her before her tragic abstraction. Ragatha also showed signs of instability in episode 1 when explaining to Pomni why they don't look for the exit anymore. The more Ragatha dwells on the hopeless reality the more broken she becomes. Her forced optimism is her coping mechanism which can be the most fragile method of coping.

I am 98% confident that Kinger will never abstract because his specific flavor of madness prevents him from comprehending, and thus succumbing to, the existential horror of his situation, which is what leads to abstraction.

I would be genuinely fascinated if Pomni abstracted next. It would really sell the idea that nobody is safe, and would be a classic example of a false protagonist, such as Eddard Stark, Jonathan Joestar, and Marian Crane.

I’ve seen it mentioned in a comment from another video, but Kinger’s mental instability seems very different from what we’ve inferred causes abstraction. He’s less so desperate and depressed and more so unhinged and vibing, and he still has moments of clarity. It almost feels protective in that it’s possibly how he copes; fight insanity with insanity.

Here’s my take. Somebody will abstract *BUT* they will come back. I feel like somehow in some way, shape, or form, the crew will find a way to cure abstracting, therefore, bringing the character back and all the others who abstracted.

With kinger i think of Alice in Wonderland. Funny since there are chess pieces in second book. Anyway he reminds me of a saying, "You have to be mad to enter Wonderland." Maybe it the same here by being insane at the Digital Circus you are protecting yourself from going off the deep end. It seems like with Abstracting from what we know it so far like you giving into your depression and loneliness. Well being mad and not aware of what going on, you are not thinking about depressing thought. You not even sure if you have them, thus how can you abstract. You are in a sense blissfully unware of your emotions.

I think if gangle abstracts it will be Jax’s fault and he will feel genuine sadness and guilt. Also Zooble is going to be the most focused on in episode 3

See I think Jax is actually closer to abstraction than we think, he looks like he has it all together but during the moment before Kaufmo's funeral his face breaks for a moment and based on how into the adventure he gets feels like someone who is just one stubbed toe away from a breakdown but keeps trying to distract themselves from it.

Here’s my feelings on who I think would abstract or not: Pomni- Nah, my girl will make it through. Sure, I believe Pomni gonna go through the ringer mentally in the circus, especially if one of her friends abstracts. Though I think she will come through and help the others to not abstract themselves(whether because she found a permanent way to prevent it or because she lets them know they can lean on her for support to know they’re not alone in this like they did for her). Jax- For right now, I don’t think so. Jax’s method of keeping himself sane in the circus seems to entertain himself with basically going through it like it’s GTA. He doesn’t care if he hurts others in the process, as long he has fun in it. Though I will say that he could possibly abstract eventually in the series because of perhaps his behavior. Since it’s confirmed he’s going to get worse each episode, it could result in the others distancing themselves from them because of this. Even worse, he could cause an abstraction whether on purpose or not(my bets would be either Gangle or Ragatha), which has the others isolate him since they hate him. With no one to be around to prank or have even social interaction, it could lead to him abstracting. Zooble- Like Pomni, I don’t think they’ll abstract. They been there not so long ago and seem to be doing fine even without joining the adventures so far. I can see them though going through some mental strife with their identity however. Goose said on her tumblr Zooble doesn’t know what they are and I believe we might see them tackle their identity issues whether it’s of who they are as a person, their role, or even gender identity. To which maybe Pomni will help them out with it if the two get closer. Gangle- Girl probably gonna abstract from Jax with his constant bullying and verbal abuse towards her UNLESS she learns to stand up for herself and not take his shit. To which if Pomni gets closer to her throughout the show, she might help Gangle be able to stand on her own and maybe other issues to prevent this from happening(I feel concerned that she wears a comedy mask to hide her tragedy). Kinger- Okay I’m in the camp that says he’s not going to abstract because of A. His current mental state being so mess up it actually helps him from abstracting, and B. Him being around the longest means something if he hasn’t cracked by now. The only way I can see him abstracting in the series if he is reminded of a really bad memory(which might be Queenie’ abstraction if they were close) and it all comes back to him. He seems to suffer from memory lapses with remembering some stuff like Ragatha back then when she was the newbie, but then forgets it after being said. Could be from being in the circus for so long or normal with age thing since he’s the oldest(being 48). Ragatha- Girl….I’m sorry but you are totally going to abstract to me. Ragatha is a ticking time bomb to me of when she’s going to break because of how she tries to carry everyone else’s problems and discard her own problems. And honestly, her downfall I bet is 100% going to be Jax pushing her to her limit. Which honestly going to be very tragic(though if this happens, I feel like it would be around Ep 6 or 7).

My theory is that it could be Zooble due to all the information we have been given, maybe through all of Episode 2 she’s been trying to figure a way out, not to mention Gooseworx said that “a character will abstract and it will not be a character you’d expect”

In reality, I, myself believe Ragatha is closest to abstract. Her mental state whilst trying to make sure the circus members are happy puts a lot on her wich can also likely make her go insane. However, were so early into the amazing digital circus, that theres really no saying who could abstract considering we do not know any of their backstories in the circus.

seeing how jax although being a bully really steals each scene he is in, i feel the unforgivable thing he will do is cause someone else to abstract and like you said gangle and ragatha are the most likely next one to do it. Unless of course the zooble episode has backstory for her causing her to abstract. I think pomi is the most likely to abstract due to it being shown in her dreams that she goes abstracted which means, in her mind she is already thinking about it sub-consciouly. BUT... Since pomi is the MC, she won't abstract because of plot reasons.

My personal theory on abstraction is that after these characters go to the "void" they get sent back to the real world. It's made clear in the first episode that the circus is a simulation, so I think it would make sense that the characters dying is just them exiting the game. Maybe no time passes in the real world and the characters have to live the rest of their lives like nothing had happened.

Ragatha or Gangle seem like the most likely since they would be the most tragic. I'm leaning towards Gangle because Ragatha seems more important for plot development. I think it depends largely on how often a character is going to abstract in the series. If the next abstraction is anytime soon, I think it will be Gangle. If it's something fair down the line, then Ragatha is the most likely.

There is a message from gooseworks that says there will be more zooble in episode 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. But there is 10 episodes planned if I’m nog mistaken. Therefore, perhaps zooble abstracts in episode 9.

Kinger's coping mechanism is actually really good. So good, I don't think he could abstract, let alone will. Having a fluctuating memory like that means you can't really dwell on anything that would hurt you because you'll forget all about it 10 seconds later. Plus, the short Burts of him being intelligent likely give him a purpose in life as he help s the people who need it when they need it.

I think zooble or gangle will abstract next. There's something about how Kinger is a chess king piece, it might represent that if he abstracts, it's game over. Zooble spends a lot of time in their room, which was noted as something Caufmo did before abstracting. Their form is also a mess of polygons already.

I kinda thought Kinger would be abstracted first, but after what you said in the video yeah, Ragatha is the most likely to be the first one to go. She's been shown to be more focused in two episodes and very close friends with Pomni. If she actually abstracted, the DC gang wouldn't feel the same way without her presence, and it will break Pomni's mental health even more . l don't want her to bite the bullet though, she's been my favorite character since the pilot😭

The moment with Ragatha and Pomni feels like a metaphor for future events and maybe even Ragatha could have something big happen to them while Pomni just barely dodges what happened to her

I think Zooble is probably the closest to being abstracted next, due to the fact that she doesn't participate in Caine's games. My theory is Caine makes these games as his twisted way of helping the other residents of the circus by stimulating their brains and distract them so they don't go into a mental crisis breakdown.

Here's how I see it: Most Likely: Ragatha/Gangle Gangle could break from all the pressure Jax put her through and Ragatha has been here the second longest and has shown a sign of insanity from the ramble she had in the pilot. Middle of the Road: Pomni/Kinger While both are not in the best mental state, Kinger has survived the longest, and Pomni's insanity could be due to her not fully adjusting to the circus life. Least Likely: Jax/Zooble While both are not completely happy being in the circus, they seem to be the most content out of everyone else there, and have found ways to keep themselves sane.

So I was wondering. Once everyone in the cast abstracted (Or best case scenario, able to leave the world), and yet the show still continue, are we gonna have a new cast to replace the old cast and they'd all get replaced once that cast all died off? Something like the newer seasons of Total Drama Island. I'd be surprised if Pomni get abstracted early or have a bad ending, because she is the protagonist. If she is no longer the protagonist, then who would take her place?

Making my guess before fully watching: I don't know why, but I've had the idea that it's going to be Jax, and that if Ragatha abstracts Pomni will shortly after.

I've always believed Ragatha to be the next one to abstract because she acts like a motherly figure. Characters like that usally die pretty early so I think that Jax might make her so mad she goes mad you know.

Kinger is so unhinged the system can't tell if he's about to abstract or not. In all seriousness Kinger's not gonna abstract. Sure he's an unstable mess of a person who basically fades in and out of reality but doesn't seem to have the soul crushing depression, driven into insanity by his desire to escape and knowing that escape is impossible as we've seen with Kofmo. He's more crazy and generally disassociates with reality which in a strange way stops him from going fully depressed and is a completely different form of insanity.

Weve heard from Gooseworks that Ragatha just internalizes the pain, and it seems that some time this first (maybe only?) season she is gonna snap, tho whether she will just become way meaner and tougher or will abstract I do not know. Pomni and Zooble r in the middle, and i have no idea who would #3 or #4. Pomni would def survive to at least episode 8 (the final one for the season), but her abstracting the the finale i could totally she happening, especially if no season 2. Zooble is actually unpredictable for the opposite reasons as Kinger. While Kinger has just reached a point of insanity that is hard to past, thus protecting him from abstracting, Zooble we just dont know enough about. Is her isolation helping or hurting her? Yes Kaufmo abstracted partially thanks to isolating himself probably, but he loved telling jokes. He prefers an audience. Isolation was truly so out of character for him i think. Meanwhile, not only is Zooble new, she is clearly an introvert and doesnt like ai, so her avoiding them might help her... wait its not a her its a them. Anyway, it could help them in the long run. Then again, the fact that she doesnt know who she is, not knowing their gender and changing looks every episode, i dont think will help her sanity. (Dagnabbit I keep calling them her.)
