We were last in yac last year, highest in TD drops, highest in EPA lost from dropped passes and most offense passes broken up. The lack of having a deep threat allows the defense to keep everything in front of them and play more aggressive downhill. Gabe, and BTJ will open up everything for Kirk, EV and even Trav catching out of the backfield. If we can stretch the defense our playmakers not only have more room to create open opportunities and allow them to have more space to gain yardage after the catch. I’m a realist even as a fan, so barring injuries we will be dynamic offensively.

Just discovered this channel. I'm a Jags fan from Jacksonville but living in The Philippines. It's great to get the scoop on what's going on with my Jags! DTWD! If there's one thing I'd like to see improve this season it's the defense. I think we can win games if we can just stop losing them...ROFL.

I think it ALL comes back to our O-Line....now I haven't watched any film...but I did watch all the games...you would HAVE to think that some of those drops were because : Line didn't protect...so Trevor throws EARLY....Route not fully run yet...but without a doubt Great receivers make the HARD catches that HELP qb's stats...keep drives alive...score td's...etc etc...

Engram should NOT be a focal point...he is VERY VERY Good..but he has to be a secondary piece...with Kirk/Gabe/BTJ as focal points. If Engram is focal point we are not stretching the field...but he is great piece to move the chains 3rd down guy.
