in my opinion, why marc has been a phenomenon on the honda is his ability to do things with the front end and in the corner entry phase that no body else could and he is not able to do that same thing with the ducati which has to be ridden in a very different way, this is why i think marc on a ktm would be very interesting cause the strong point of the ktm does seem to be their front end and corner entry as brad and acosta said and this is what even marc is saying, his strongest point that he is missing on the ducati is corner entry, so yeah its gonna be interesting if marc does go to ktm.

Yes yes yes…..you are absolutely right. The pay is going to be very interesting because Marc can take whatever they will give him but Martin will not. And that will be a problem plus Marc knows how to carry himself around but Martin seems to say whatever he want at anytime and that’s what Ducati management don’t want in their official team.

Not impossible, I could see Marquez finishing his career on Honda if they are competitive. Marc winning and going back to Honda is more likely than Gigi ever going to Honda IMO. Honda desperately needs a rider of his caliber, but three of the four top riders are on Ducati and the fourth has already signed with Yamaha. Maybe Mir stays on, but my guess is he will be happy Valencia is his last race on the RC213V. The best riders available may be Mav or Bastianini. Although Miller, Rins, or even Digi would not be terrible choices.

I'd think Bastianini as factory Aprilia trumps KTM GasGas. So GasGas is fully open for both bikes 2025. My Opinion is that Ducati should not be held hostage by Martin, and the fact he's giving ultimatums makes me feel like Ducati should choose Marc. The marketing behind MM93 would br MASSIVE!

We know Martin's stance: factory spot or I walk. What we don't know if Marquez mindset. Would a 2025 bike at Gresini be one his best-case scenarios? Martin has done everything to earn the factory team position, he isn't even in his prime yet and already the best of 2024. Ducati must also ask "if he goes to KTM or Aprilia and their bike is really good, what will it take for us to beat him?"

@@sburns2421 That’s true and at the same time, Martin has been with Ducati all his MotoGP career yet only 5 races in his Ducati career with last year’s bike Marc is already fighting them upfront every single race. Which is something to think about because imagine Marc on the same bike like them next year on the Ducati??? So this is something Ducati are thinking about as well and it’s making the decision very difficult.

I would love to see that, but this is a tough track for him, due to long right handed cornors, even if he likes the track, im hoping he can atleast score a podium in both the sprint ang gp, on an year old bike, he cant afford crashes if he wants to compete for the 🏆, he outta stay consistent, the Le Mans and Jerez performance clearly speaks in his favour for now, im really excited to see what happens this week, cant wait, literally 😂
