As a contractor, i wanted to invest in a decent cordless combo set. Needless to say, the metabo htp was the best value proposition. Used rigid and makita for years. Rigids driver/hammer combo holds it's own if you're on a budget. Their other stuff is 50/50 and the batteries don't hold a charge as long. The 36 volt battery on metabo hpt lasts all day without a charge. Their cordless nailers and grinders are the best in my experience. Total work horses. My only criticism is it would be nice if metabo had a wider selection like dewalt

@@ToolswithSoAlz Milfucky stoped specifing soft torque a while back, so nope, you can't compare the specs. Hard torque is reached only from one impact ar hard stop in shock at full speed with low load in gear 2, from inertia, momentum an kinetic energy in relation with the speed squared. Soft torque in speed 1 is no longer provided by Milwaukee that is a 100% chinese brand, both designed and produced in China from 2005 even, and is a trend today, even Makita started doing this shit on the last gen... Fuel is spect 135 Nm hard torque, that is no wey near actual torque in gear 1, and in gear 2 before that impact we have a 3-4 X lower torque then in gear 1 where is something like 45-65 Nm for a top of the line drill driver with a big pack. But on the other hand 3Ah High output has one row of 21700 3Ah that are good up to 30-35 A max, so less then 4Ah compact with one row of 21700 4Ah that are good up to 40-44 A, and less then 5Ah with 2 rows of 18650 that are good up to 40-46 A, less then 8Ah with 2 rows of 21700 4Ah that are good up to 80-88A, and 12Ah with 3 rows good up to 120-132 A. 18x 30A = 540W minus 1,2X loss in electronic driver so 432 W for motor. With a normal 5Ah you can reach 18 ( or even 20.5) x 46A = 828W - 1.2 loss in electronic driver = 662W. Makita DDF 458 has a 600W motor, DDF 481 and DDF 486 650-650+W motor.

@@FlyNRyanfpv I run mostly yellow but I also have a bunch of M12 fuel stuff. I really like them but they haven't come without their problems or complaints. If you're accustomed to the ergonomics of a DeWalt in your hand then you may not love how bulky the M12 stuff is with the barrel style batteries. The m12 fuel multi tool blade change will irritate you if you're use to DeWalts quick change. My M12 fuel impact has collet issues but I've heard they quietly fixed that. The next generation of M12 fuel drills is coming out as well as some 12v HO batteries but you'd be $350+ deep in a kit with an HO battery and IMO there's far more useful tools to be bought for that kind of money.
