I agree purple is a great color but what's even better is when it's paired with a sage green. Sooooo, pretty. Your cards are gorgeous. My favorite card is made with the greens and blues.

I love that you are so passionate about purple, it is so fun to see you so animated and excited about the distress ink Reinker colors , beautiful colors and cards, they would look good with a stained glass effect , maybe with clear glossy accents or distress glaze…. So fun!!

While I'll admit purple is not my favorite color, I do love it! It has it's place in the world....a beautiful top, a fun accent to an outfit or a fun accent to a girls bathroom and especially on handmade cards! It's very dramatic and makes one take notice. Most importantly for me though is it was my grandmother's favorite color so I instantly think of Grandma...it looked fabulous on her. Beautiful cards and a great technique....I'm inspired.

I love purple. Our high school colors were purple and white, my first luggage was a light lavender, I even wished for a purple car at one time. Bring it on!

Oh my goodness, the purple with mustard seed is amazing. I thought it sounded strange as a combination but they both just make each other pop off the page. Gorgeous.

I LOVE purple. While a month of purple might be off-putting for some, a month with each week devoted to working with a different color might be well received. Or a class devoted to working with purple would be AhMazing! Really enjoy your work. You’ve inspired me to move beyond my comfort zone and man, oh, man have I found joy in card making. I started using Distress reinkers several years ago because it is so easy to achieve intense colors. The one issue I found is that sometimes, if the ink is too concentrated, it takes a LONG time to dry. The solution is easy - don't use pure ink, dilute it as you have done. These cards are so dramatic! As to the color purple - not a fan for clothing, but I use it often in my cards and journal pages because it draws the eye. Beautiful cards, Kristina. I can understand why you wanted to share the video!

They are all gorgeous! Usually I'm not a purple lover - it does not suit my complexion, so I have no purple clothes, but I love the purple shades that Tim has come up with, and my favourite is wilted violet, with villainous potion second!

purple month>purple month!!! that would be great, a full month of only purple cards, purple is so versatile. i think it works for all season, for all holidays and all occasions. just like green and blue. i love blue, but i just got the new purple from Tim and it had the same effect on me, i wanted all my Halloween stuff to be purple :)

Your cards are beautiful and elegant. Villainous Potion is gorgeous! I make a lot of cards with my favorite cardstock combo cards which is a deep purple with sage green or another light green but not too light. The darker the purple the more rich color you get. Just❤it.

Green is my favorite color, but a deep jewel tone purple is a close second. When Tim started creating new colors, I kept griping about there needing to be an eggplant type purple. Villainous is close!

I went through phases where I had a favorite color; it would change periodically. I was obsessed with purple for several year, maybe a decade. I even talked my father into painting the walls a purple that matched Villainous Potion. My bed cover and curtains were white eyelet. My final favorite color (years ago0 was a deep, deep green that had a little more blue than yellow in it.. I haven’t had a favorite color in many years; for at least a decade,. My last least favorite color was orange. Now, strangely enough, I find myself drawn to it before others when I have to make a choice.

Just love these cards. Perfect to do all purple cards/projects in February, because of the Amethyst birthstone. I am a major purple lover, especially with green. My husband and my birthstones (him Amethyst and me Peridot).
