There’s no need to provide super technical spec like measurements, tire size, software info: most of it’s online and a BMWAudi/Porsche buyer isn’t looking to interact with a teacher at first meet. Charisma helps too.

Unfortunately its gotten worse its rubbery and the engine is tuned for the dual clutch transmission while the manual feels like it was an afterthought.

Modern pocket rockets are cool for putting down dyno numbers but theyre always missing the close ratio manual box and the "grippy, tight but weightless" drivefeel of the classics. Glad to hear they actually let you drive this one. Unfortunately it weighs the same as an m4 so im out.

I personally think this is worse looking than the older M2s. However, I am biased because I own a previous generation 2 series. I will say that this looks so much better than the new M4, i4, or the iX(which I think may be the ugliest new BMW). Why does an EV need such a big, ugly grille?

Common misconception: Bigger brakes don’t always mean better braking, because you can only brake as much as the tires can. So hypothetically, if the small disc brakes from a bike were able to lock up the tires and modulate around that point, it would brake just as good as brakes that can barely fit in there. What bigger brakes do better though, is heat, and brake fade

Yeah smaller brakes would work for everyday applications, but this is a M2, it's supposed to be run on track and go between full throttle and full braking - it matters

The M2 has always been a great car because you get the engine of a bigger car and the weight of a small sports car… the problem is the suspension is so stiff, you feel every bump on the road and you start to hear rattles and noises in the cabin within weeks of owning it. Great weekend car to drive up a mountain pass but not as a daily commuter.

The highest compliment I still have though is the styling. It’s not as BMW as it once was, and the previous generation still looks more in-character (and better). Once that’s fixed, it’s a worthy successor to the previous generation.
