​@@anjelica948 nah, Job interviews are definitely business smart. Like in-between "meeting the CEO" and "First day, First job". Business casual is regular work day attire for a non-strict office and business is for a team meeting with a supervisor, type of look.

I mean what she considers business-appropriate is very different from what someone in an office space would use so it's almost useless to compare them in the same manner. Like for fucks sakes she is in an entirely different industry and as a model these outfits are what helps get her jobs. Rant over. I just get irritated sometimes when people think office dresscodes are the only permitted way of dressing when it isn't. Also people somehow tend to forget that not every country is old fashioned and use things like dresscodes. Like yes, I won't show up in a bandou-thingy that barely cover my boobs but I will come to work in my favourite summer skirt that is similar to a shorter a-line. I dress for myself, not for others and the one doing the staring has the proplem.

It's california. Business casual has a very different meaning out here.

​@@8bitbunny business casual is pretty much the same anywhere you go if your talking bigger city jobs (lived in Cali until a few years ago). As others said in other comments, unless fashion or similar industries, that's definitely NOT at all in the realm of business casual acceptable. Obviously its fine for her and her job, but for most people its really not. Add a tank top then sure possibly, but its definitely pushing the line still depending on what industry you work in. "Business casual", unless with extremely lax rule enforcement tends to mean: covered stomach and chest- specifically undergarments/underwear (solid non see through colors), nice pants (dark colored jeans that isnt blue jeans can fit this)/skirt (long as its not a mini skirt)/mid thigh to long Capri like shorts (possibly tights depending on the bottom), a nice shirt/blouse (not a tee shirt), and not sneakers (slip ons, boots, etc are fine) Depending on the environment, covered shoulders is an optional add on, so like a cap sleeve vest or sweater or such would satisfy that. Her outfit hits quite a few of those, but the main issue if the exposed bra through the shirt.

It would've been fine for meetings maybe if she'd put a small top under the lace top instead of a bra and longer shorts at a stretch. Obviously it works for her though.

you seem to not know that there are MANY different work environments. Like you're not going to see a nurse and construction worker dressing the same but both of their outfits are appropriate for their work environment.

Most of California has been in a perpetual drought for the last 10-15 years. 45% of CA is currently in a severe drought 95% in a Moderate Drought 100% is Abnormally Dry 2022 was the second driest year since we started recording 128 years ago. On avg, 90% of days in LA are sunny and definitely none of those rainy days are as extreme as the massive floods that California got this week. If I move to London and then there is a drought with an avg temp of 90F, I would be quite surprised as well.

San Diego, 5m or so, is also very dry. The socal region is around 1/2 of California's population and very dry. Sacramento has 58 days of rain or about 15% of the year. About the same for San Fran. No population zone in California has a particularly wet climate. Definitely no region has as wet of a climate as this storm has been. If you live in Redding California with the other 20,000 residents, then fair the weather can be quite wet/snowey. But I don't think a fashion model or any young person is moving out to California's boonies anytime soon.
