An anime protagonist got a small paper cut

I have a theory that the new kid may have imagined this, as their parents only show wounds when you... you know... at Mephisto’s lab. Perhaps he imagined the worst, and after realizing they were fine, his imagination calmed down, seeing as there wasn’t a trace or a spec of blood left. Or maybe the developers got lazy, who knows, it’s Ubisoft for Pete’s sake.

Since Cartman was the one who kidnapped New Kid's parents, he might have used fake blood to make it look more dramatic. Still doesn't explain why it disappears though...

The mom couldn't get the bottle of ketchup open, so she ran upstairs to find something to open it with, and after a series of failures at opening it, she finally just dashes it on the floor. After that, with it still dripping, she walks back to the kitchen to find the father was running some frozen bottles of ketchup under some hot water to loosen the seal. Ultimately they blew up, and covered the kitchen in ketchup. 'Eh, we'll clean it later.' They think to themselves. Just so long as they have ketchup on their eggs and toast that's all that matters. ...So they clean it up, then get kidnapped. Aliens invade the house looking for sugar to fuel their spacecrafts, but one has a crazy sugar addiction and eats the sugar, so the other aliens shoot him with a ray gun. He explodes all over the house and that's the blood the kid sees. The aliens quickly hide under the table with their shrink ray when the kid comes, then grow themselves back up. Then they mop up the sugary blood to use in their spacecrafts instead while the kid is gone, and call in a Godzilla like monster to take over another dimension off screen.

It could've been Cartman. In an episode he had a business of covering the inside of houses with actual shit.

I think the kid feeled like their parents disapeared, of course he didn't know where they go so he though they were murdered, but when he realizes his parents are Ok, he forgets about the blood, in conclusion, the blood is just his imagination because he knew everthing about his parents.

My theory: The group that came to your house to kidnap your parents were the ones that got violently beaten to pulps by your parents. They started upstairs, wound up in the kitchen for a majorly visceral blood bath, and one of the guys was finally like, "Look, just let us kidnap you, alright? If you keep killing our guys, your house is just going to get even messier!" And your parents were like, "That's a good point, alright then."

I was always confused on that moment. When it comes to South Park there are a lot of weird shit that happens that isn't explained but it doesn't really matter since most of the time it is just something to make you laugh. This moment, however, is creepy and is just something that is never explained and the game expects you to just completely ignore it. I wonder if there was something to add to that moment but they ran out of time?

I always assumed both were Cartman's doing. That he somehow got blood bags and went nuts making a horror scene then was a terror to other kids to make them clean it up for him and fast while you were out of the house

Super-late to the party, but given that South Park in general tends to uhhh.... kinda sorta follow realism, at least to a relative degree... whereas in stick of truth and even moreso in fractured but whole suddenly there's nazi zombies of alien origin, Canada being within a child's walking distance of the eponymous Colorado town, massive genetic mutant clones that need to satiate their blood lust, and, most importantly, everyone the new kid meets is perfectly willing to fight according to the rules of whatever child's game they are playing even to the death... I always figured we'd find out in a third game that, in addition to being a social media savant and having farts that can rip space-time asunder, New Kid would be revealed to have, and to have always had, some kind of crazy reality-warping powers that more or less mean that everyone around them HAS to play whatever game they are playing, because that game is absolutely real as long as the new kid believes in it. If this off-the-wall idea of mine were the case, two possible conclusions could be drawn related to the above scene: 1) The New Kid woke up and could tell mom and dad weren't around and dreamed up the violent kidnapping scene we saw to explain it. Later, upon seeing that they were relatively unharmed, the massive bloodspatter just... disappeared because it was no longer on their mind. Since only New Kid ever saw it, this is functionally pretty much the same as if he had just imagined it anyway. 2) The crime scene actually happened, and maybe The New Kid's parents were even killed on the scene and their bodies removed, but The New Kid rejected this so hard that, by the time the children saw Mitch's kidnapping video, reality was altered so that Chris and Kelly were alive and relatively well and just needed to be rescued in typical superhero fashion. Thus, the blood all disappeared.

I think it was like that because the new kid had fear of his parents eventually getting into serious fight by that tense situation, new kid probably had the fear that one day they would just flip and get into fight and he already visualized it by not seeing parents anywhere . Ooor maybe someone had issues with ketchup that wouldn't come out, so they squeezed it too much that it splattered all over the place.

Another disturbing and creepy moment in South Park: Fractured But Whole is the Forest Critters. They're Satanic and I'm a Catholic.
