This makes my ❤️ happy!!! When I gave up eating meat 37 years ago, people thought I was some crazy hippie dippy person. There was no internet, there were no resources. Being vegan in this day in age is easier than ever. I never catch colds, I'm rarely ever sick, and I'm medication free. At my age, that's saying a lot. Most of my friends take a sh*tload of medications, go to different doctors all the time, and still don't feel well. I've always said my diet has contributed to my good health, even though I stopped eating meat for moral, ethical, and environmental reasons. Keep spreading the word. Thank you!!! 🙂

My wife and I had seen Forks Over Knives, and What the Health, but it was actually Game Changers that was the final straw for me. I was 58 and had been a omnivore for most of my life, and my wife has been a vegetarian for her most of her life. What the Health did a great job of showing how much health deception is out there and Game Changers solidified that. We've both been on a WFPB lifestyle for a year and a half now, and the benefits have been amazing. We both went from overweight to healthy weight within the first three months. We try to tell our friends about it but no one wants to know. They are horrified about giving up meat and dairy. It's kind of sad that even when we tell people that their type 2 diabetes is curable with a diet change, they still won't give it up. We focus on learning new ways to cook great meals and we are really focusing on growing as much vegetables as possible in our new garden beds. It's amazing how much the meat and dairy industry has lied to people about the reality of the damage that animal protein does to our bodies. We are doing this for our health, but it's nice to know that it's a lifestyle that's good for the planet, and good for the animals. We're big fans of Dr Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr Gregor, Dr Fuhrman, Dean Ornish, Dr Barnard. Your KZfaq channel has been a great source of recipes. THANK YOU!!

You are lucky to have your husband and your kids doing this with you. Men, usually, are very opposed to plant based diet; very few people are willing to try my food, but when they try it they are amazed. One of my best friends from Las Vegas resents me when I talk with him about the benefits of eating more fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds; he does the opposite and I feel so sorry for him.

Thank you for sharing your journey! My husband and I were plant based and super healthy for 10 years. Then, due to pressures from family members, went down the slippery slope of some unhealthy habits…added dairy back in, occasional meat, eggs, snacks, alcohol and in just a few years our health plummeted….stomach and digestive issues, weight gain, high blood pressure, cholesterol, stress, etc. We decided to go back to what we knew was best for us and 3 months later, all of our health issues have cleared up! So much more energy, healthy weight now…no more digestive issues and feel and look ten years younger! I’ve had people who I haven’t seen for a while tell me how nice I looked and have asked me what I was doing differently. So there’s proof….this whole foods plant based diet really works. Most people don’t want to make the changes but if they knew how much better you could feel….they would be shocked.

What the Health turned me vegan right then and there when I watched last December. I was so angry at all the lies I was fed and believed about "humane" dairy and chicken that I cleaned out my kitchen after the movie. The improvement in my health: cholesterol shot down, brain fog that I lived with for decades is gone, skin is clear and glowing, eyes are bright and sometimes, I have so much energy that I have trouble sleeping at night (yes, I need to exercise harder). I get asked if I would ever go back to consuming anything with animal flesh or secretions and with an emphatic "no", they realize I miss nothing. There is a delicious plant-based substitute for anything I crave whether it's cheese, ice cream, butter or chicken. Plant-based options are endless! Thank you for your channel! Look forward to making some of your recipes!

Throughout my 20s I ate terribly. Fast food, frozen dinners, whatever was quick and easy. I never really thought twice about it. When I was around 28 I felt a huge desire to change a lot of things in my life, including the way I ate. I started by completely cutting out red meat. So, I would just eat chicken. As time went on I not only felt ethically wrong eating chicken but it just really didn't taste good to me. It became a very strange thing to eat as I became more aware and conscious of what I was eating. I'm 32 now and, although I'm far from perfect, I don't eat meat at all. I don't even miss it. I don't think a lot of people realize (like myself at one time) that your taste buds change. What you once craved won't even be appealing to you anymore. It just takes commitment and work. Thanks for sharing your personal story and for sharing recipes with us. The more recipes and ideas I have the easier it is to keep on track with my plant based journey :)

+daisy molina Veganism is a lifestyle centered around reducing animal cruelty as much as practicable, which extends beyond diet. A vegan can eat oreos and vegan junk food since it doesn't harm animals, or they can choose to eat whole foods plant based to maintain or improve their personal health. There are some who are plant-based for health reasons and they may be consumers of leather products, wool, etc.

I’ve fallen of the veggie wagon before, don’t feel bad. I liked that I felt the difference almost immediately. I had started my journey in eating a WFPB diet on October 2019, right before the holidays. My mom and I both did it for her health and I wanted to try with her. We both started feeling great in a matter of weeks. Her arthritis and even asthma symptoms began to disappear. My back pain and headaches and acne started to go away. When I ate a little bit of meat and dairy desserts during Christmas 2019 (my mom didn’t, she was strong), I felt it the next day. I got a headache and felt achy (that’s inflammation). Got back on the wagon the following week and the pain avoidance has been my motivation.

I love eating WFPB. I started with Dr Fuhrman and found Christina Fully Raw along the way. It was a long transition for me to go from SAD to WFPB. it took me whole year to go 100%. I'm so thankful for all the people who go on KZfaq and share the message of eating really good food ..... I'm loving veggies every day now. The more greens I eat the better i feel.

Such a sincere and real testimony! I am currently pregnant with my first child at 35, started "underweight" according to the doc so I felt a lot of pressure to reintroduce what i call "weight gain" foods like meat/dairy but my body and baby rejected them immediately. Lesson learned! Morning sickness is the babys way of getting you to make better choices!! If you feel like crap after u eat, stop and look at your meal. A whole food, plant based, gluten free diet is what my baby demanded and im so grateful to be back on track.

I became a vegetarian at the age of 20 years old when I was in college. I'm 71 years old now and became plant base 8 years ago. I maintain a 32 " waist,I have no grey hair, I have tons of energy and people think I'm in my mid 30's. People say I'm an alien because I haven't changed my looks that much. I'm really thankful for the internet, because when I first became vegetarian it was very difficult going to a restaurant, books for recipes were hard to find and it was a life style and journey which I enjoyed doing. Good for your family that you took the journey. When I started at the age of 20 years old my family and friends thought I was crazy. It's a cleaner life style and I even make my soap. I love the way people can't believe that I'm 71 and they tell me that I look like I'm I'm my mid 30's. Love your book and your show. Thanks again Liam::

Living in California we are in plant based paradise because we have easy, year round access, to affordable fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains. Were vegetarian beginning in 1975 when my husband who was a runner suggested it, and by the mid 1980's we realized we were vegan/plant based without even realizing it. About the only non fresh items we buy are canned jackfruit, frozen fruits and some nut butters from Trader Joe's. Which is why I wince when I see some vegan KZfaq channels doing taste tests of processed vegan foods. Since we have known to many new vegans/plant based folks who were tempted to go back to dairy and eggs, until they were reminded that the processed vegan items or recipes they were eating all the time were NOT healthy, just vegan.

My husband and I watched WTH on April 30th and halfway through he went to the freezer and threw out meat and eggs and milk and eggs. So may 1 we went shopping and our eyes were opened to so many other things that are healthy and in the regular grocery store. We have both felt better than we ever have and we lost ten pounds. We found vegan restaurants and way better healthy options. Thank you for your channel, I love to cook and need more ideas for meals

@@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow First off, I would like to thank you and praise you for sharing your own personal life success with those people who are experiencing a healthy lifestyle for the first time in many years. You truly have demonstrated a love for yourself and family, but most importantly a love for your fellow mankind, (a very selfless act). I must say, you look amazingly healthy! Life is so very simple, but yet man has found ways to make it more complicated, because of his arrogance, lies, deceit, manipulation, pride, and mostly his greed. What's most interesting is that our (Heavenly Father Yahweh), made our bodies naturally to consume live breathing whole food plant based, that He made for us, and yet we consume so much processed dead foods which sit on supermarket shelves almost forever, and wonder why we have to take so many stupid medications, (Big Pharma loves us for our stupidity). Scriptures tell us to pray, to read His word, to fellowship, like we are through this communication, and yet we deny Yahweh in our lives, because of the food choices we make. We are so brainwashed in the namesakes of the almighty profits of greedy mankind. Scriptures also tell us that, blessed is he who believes and doesn't see. I say these things with the utmost respect for you and the many testimonials that I have had the privilege to witness too. I have been researching for more than over 30 years of my life and always keep coming back to what Yahweh has provided for us. I personally have experienced the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, (Clint Eastwood) of most diets and supplements. I just turned 59 a month ago and feel rather pretty good, but I know the best will come, when I decide to go all WFPB. People still need to know that there are those that have experienced what they have. I must also confess, that the Fasting that I do really helps me in maintaining the high energy levels. I look forward to seeing more of your videos and learning from one of my favorite speakers as well, Dr. Joel Fuhrman including the likes of Dr. John McDougall, Dr. David Perlmutter, J J Virgin and Dr. Amy Meyer.

Great hearing your personal health journey. I always feel an individual has achieved a spiritual growth when learning to eat correct. I wasn't aware of the health benefits when I became a vegetarian at age 14. It was more so a feeling thing. Which lead to being a vegan at 24-yrs-old. Got 50- years in now. And going strong. It's really true -- "the truth shall set you free."

Nice video and thanks for the other resources. A year ago I was hospitalized with IBD and vomiting for 5 days while doctors ran tests, tested polyps and told me I have gastritis, a hiatal hernia, IBD and a defective artery to my stomach. Long story short, I quit my job as I was so sick, which meant we had to live on less. Meat was unaffordable, so I began cooking all our meals without meats. I researched recipes and stumbled on whole food plant based videos. A little more than a year later after adopting this new lifestyle, my achy knees don't ache, nore do my toes or hands. I have lots more energy and no acne. The IBD is under control.

Wow I've just this minute found you and I think your fab! I'm 38 and I was vegetarian/Palm oil free for a year and a half and now have been on a planet based/vegan diet for just 3months along with my 3yr old daughter. Everything you have said in this short video I can completely relate with! My 3yr has made the transition from meat to veggie to planet base very well. I feel amazing have a spring in my step a sparkle in my eyes and my joint problems and inflammation and water retention has all gone!! I ordered 4 vegan cookbooks and am having to learn a complete new way of eating but it's fun learning it! If you said to me two years ago that I would be planet based/vegan/Palm oil free then I would of laughed at you!!! People often challenge my new found eating habits but I just say it's amazing and research it....oh and your talking to someone who's had anorexia in my late teens early 20's and I've also binged ate on crisps, chocolate, lots of sugars etc etc for years....Now I'm slowly losing weight and loving my life which if I'm honest is the first time in many many years that I can truly say that. Love, light and blessings to you and thank you 🌛🌝🌜💜🌸💜🌸💜xx

So, I started watching What the Health, and something about the delivery of the information seemed....off, like the whole picture wasn't there. Maybe I'm prone to be skeptical because most media information is based around sensationalism simply for attention and ratings. However, I really connected with this video because of how honestly it was delivered. Calm and matter of fact...which is actually more motivational for me. Thank you for being an example, rather than "telling" individuals what they "should" do. I feel moved to perform my own experiment of no meat/dairy. And lastly, thank you for the inspiration.

Why are people so fragile and feel like a video or movie they don't have to watch is "telling" them what to do, thus threatening their comfort zone? Stop being so weak. If you want the truth, you can find it. The truth doesn't have to coddle you...you will either hide from it or accept it. Your feelings really don't matter to the facts.
