Aldi is where I go to get things like nuts. Walnuts, etc. Dead cheap there, while other places just about take you out back and draw blood as payment when you buy nuts.

It's so nice to see how unbiased Rhett and link are at this game. They eat the food and not only have trouble telling the difference, but often enough enjoy the cheaper one a lot better anyway. Other youtubers would've been snobs about it and would imply the 99 cent store's stuff is like peasant food. Their humbleness is a nice gesture

@@oscarsmith8307 You don't know that though. You don't know the chemical composition of the food sourced at either-- 99c store sells produce like everywhere else. Are the whole food tomatoes actually better? Did you know they get their produce from Mexico sometimes? So does the 99c store. Are they actually organic? Get them tested. As for the cake, they never said whether they bought the cake or made it, if they did make it, the ingredients are just butter, flour and sugar, they had the same chance to taste the same, they didn't. People are deluded about health and nutrition.

I love this video! It really shows you can’t always tell the difference. Most of my meals are using all ingredients from the 99 Cents Only Stores! I’ve even made dishes for friends and coworkers and they can never tell they are “dollar store” meals

The only difference is the type of preservative they put on the fruit and vegetables. The more expensive places they put a waxy coating which preserves the item for a lot longer. That is the only difference unless they have a farmers section from an actual local farm.
