Suzy, that curtain is beautiful. Don't trim it but thread your needle and hem it you can always take out the hem when you get that big window. Super easy. Your life is real. Many of us can identify with your life.

I agree I love your huge mirror in the dining. For your towels , there are door hooks that you can get from the supermarket and place them behind your door and hang the towels there

Use S hooks for towels over the doors. Cover cistern with a nice stick and peel paper. I find if you fill or cover every empty or blank space or surface with things it can transform into clutter which is what you dont want.

I found it very amusing when you said your house was old, when it was apparently built around 30 years ago…mine was built in the 1960’s and is not even considered old! But I’m from the UK where we’re used to REALLY old, so maybe that explains it. You have made a lovely home for your family, old or not!

For school supplies, you can put in cartons, then wrap the carton. the wrapper can seperate the different items..... eg yellow wrapper for art, blue for books, red for beads etc etc

Hi Suzy, loved the tour. I don’t know if someone has commented about the kids wardrobe. You have a very good system but you could swap clothes. The youngest kids could have theirs at the top and the older ones on the lower shelves where they can reach and start picking their outfits as you mentioned. For the bathroom get towel hooks in the bathroom wall or behind the door. Your house is very young, ours is 65yrs old 😘

Immediate but temporal solution to the kitchen curtain. Turn under and sew (hem) the edge of the curtain. I had the same issue and it simply irritated me every time I stood to wash dishes because it got dirty and wet. Now am happy.

You've worked well with what you have. Some landlords will not make any repairs as long as the house is occupied and rent is being paid. If you repair anything make sure that you can recover the cost.

Hi there, look for self adhesive hooks from miniso for your towels, with less than 400 or thereabouts your problem will be solved. Hang them on bathroom door on the inside. X
