what i find funny is that when whoppie is telling everyone HER opinion ,she dismisses the other women at the table for speaking against bill cosby! she even said in one of her shows that maybe their trying to take him down because he's "black' and because he's 'rich'! she even said that these 'white women' , are trying to after him because of his fame of being Mr Huxtable and by throwing shade on him they wanted to somehow de thrown him! meanwhile the list of women who was raped and professional ,and kind of rich was growing. there was a lesbian who was raped by cosby and the court had to rule in HER favor because why would a lesbian who is a comedian want to be raped by him? it was HER testimony that helped put this guy away! i look at whoopie and i feel that she used her show as a platform to help her friend cosby! thank god it didnt work!

After watching today's show, and now re watching this clip, I honestly don't know what to believe about Whoopi's stance on these Cosby allegations. I don't know if she truly believes Bill Cosby is guilty OR Whoopi still believes he's innocent, and is now saving face to protect her image?

I really believe and I took a very close at the video. she's saving her face to protect her image. Just think about it. Whoopi Goldberg doesn't usually flip flop like that on subject matters. I believe she believes he's innocent. She just doesn't want to cause chaos with the network. I believe she saw that coming...lf she continued to state his innocence. @@sheilafort2193 This video is 7 years old, with your comment you had 5 years of evidence and a conviction of three counts of aggravated indecent assault. I am pretty sure she does think he is guilty by now, but I understand it could have been hard for her to believe that in the early stages, both knowing him personally, and him having such a huge respect in the black community making a name for himself with his own show which did very well.

he didn't admit to raping anyone. He admitted to using drugs with their consent and he always maintained his innocence. He was never charged with rape....look at the court records. He is a free man now because they violated his rights. He should have never been arrested and charged. I hope he sues the state

@@Chris-od1jp in his 2005 deposition he admitted to using drugs but maintained that he never rapes anyone. He was not charged with rape then and he was not charged with rape in 2015. Read the court records.

@@Chris-od1jp he admitted to giving them quaaludes which were not illegal at the time...they were deemed illegal in the 80's. But, never said anything about raping anyone. Even when he was up for parole, he was told that if he admitted to raping the women, they would grant his parole, but he said he was innocent and his parole was denied. Look, Cosby and those women are the only ones who know what really happened. If those women hadn't waited 20,30, 40, and 50 years to accuse him, maybe he could have been convicted, but there was never enough evidence to convicted him of a crime. In 2015, they violated his rights and the prosecutors and the D.A knew what they were doing was wrong. No evidence no charge. All I can say is women and men lie and the whole believe women simply because they are women is ridiculous.

Yeah, that's why the only contempt you hear in her voice is directed at the victims for not going to the police, some of them TEENAGERS and at the people who called her out for her crap attitude. I agree everyone deserves their day in court. She could have reported on the Cosby situation with class without trashing his victims. She chose not to.

Do you think Bill Cosby is your son now, Whoopi? I definitely think this case has driven her slowly insane... Don't get me wrong, I can never condone the threats directed against her and her family. But Whoopi has to respect and acknowledge the anger she has caused through her stance. Either an embarrassed apology or resignation is going to come out of her stance.

Leen V I didn't accused you of being racist, I accused you of being against due process and pro mob justice. And I get, one can be guilty without a conviction, but you think your judgment without due process is enough to access that, just like the cop in the analogy. He might not be racist, just believing he's someone else who he saw selling drugs, it makes no difference. Of course, usually it's racism, but that's beyond the point. In the end, regardless of what motivates the disrespect for due process, the result in an innocent found guilty, either in the court of law, or in the court of mob mentality.
