Thanks so much for your kind comments about our event, Will. Hope you'll be back next year - if so, come and say hello, no one needs to be alone at Whooverville. We were very aware of the problems with Sylvester and Sophie's autograph queues. Because both were involved in two on-stage panels, that meant that we had less time to put them in the autograph room. Thankfully our generous guests saved the situation. Although Whooverville is a one-day event, we like to pack in as much as we can - so, inevitably things will be happening at the same time as other things. Again, that was exacerbated by the particular conditions for the Myth Makers interviews. Thanks for your understanding about that. Any road up, glad you had a good time. Maybe see you next year.

Sorry for the late reply to this, but thanks for the comment and the kind words! I'll try and be back next year if it doesn't conflict with my freelance work. Completely understand about the limitations of an event like this but it didn't really hamper the enjoyment, I just wanted to make sure that people knew that before maybe attending a future event. If you need any panellists or moderators at future events, feel free to get in touch as well!

Glad you had an awesome time ^^ Paul McGann was super fun and lovely to meet when i met him at York Unleashed Comic Con, I told him that he was one of my favourite Doctors and enjoyed the 1996 movie and he gave me a big hug which was super sweet ^^ I enjoyed talking about the movie with him and agreed that the movie should not be overlooked, his Doctor was so cool in the film and definitely made his mark ^^

Great review Will - you can just see how much you enjoyed it all. I would love to go to Whoville based on this review. I personally was fortunate enough to meet Sylvester and Colin at the Bournemouth BIC comiccon yesterday. Amazingly there wasn't even a queue as I suppose it wasnt a Doctor Who event. They were both so kind to me. I told Sylvester how grateful I was to him for doing Doctor Who and making some truly magnificent episodes (remembrance, silver nemesis, survival to name just a few) and thanked Colin for his brilliant contribution to Doctor Who too (again some fantastic stories in Colin's time). I also talked to him about his Big Finish work and managed to tell him that I was really sad when he left the programme the first time around but was so glad that he got to do a final regeneration episode with Big Finish, which for me was a touching moment as I was really gutted to lose him as the Doctor way too soon. What truly great actors both Colin and Sylvester are. Michael Grade robbed us of a longer stint by both of these legends but how brilliant it is that we have Big Finish. Sylvester was so lively at his panel running around answering questions with true panache. Colin was also an absolute joy to listen to sharing many humorous stories. There was also some great comedic banter when Sylvester did his panel earlier. These two were true legends and just increased my love for the show and them as Doctor Who to a humungous amount. So if you happen to read this Colin and Sylvester you made my inner child very happy that day!

Can I just say, I am so glad Mattew Waterhouse was able to make this big comeback after being Adric. I know Adric wasn't liked and that is more of a writing issue at times, but like, I remember an interview with Steven Moffat who said "you look at Mattew and he's not REALLY acting." (I cannot remember where it's from, but I do remember it) and i am so glad that Mattew has just done this terrific job in these last few decades despite the criticisms. I do like the conventions (though I haven't been to one since before lockdown). Iam really glad you enjoyed your time there and I am rather jealous that you can just easily drive there. Me? I'd gave to book a ticket to Britain, book a hotel, hope I don't have a panic attack staying at a hotel and uhh, not really see any sites cos my money would be gone by the end of the con.

If you're talking about the one I think you are, it's part of the making of documentary on Earthshock's DVD release, where Moffat compares Matthew's performance to watching an audience member wander onto the set and join in the regulars.

It was great! I did the interview as well before the guy cosplaying as Mr. Kane from Dragonfire, it was great! Got a picture from Sylvester McCoy as well which was great. I also got a picture with the cheetah (who I think was cosplaying as a cheetah from Survival). It was awesome and everyone there was too!

As someone who lives within 20 minutes walk of the Derby Quad, it's lovely to know you had such a good time. Unfortunately, money and ill-health have precluded me from attending myself, but I'd be more than happy to meet you for a coffee next year if that's appropriate. It's been a while since I've been there and it'd be nice to have a chat with someone of like mind.

Hey I was there! Didn't notice you, apologies, but did you see someone with a skull wolf mask? (it's for a Faction Paradox) Also, I didn't realise I was eligible for free autographs :( and I got to talk Paul McGann despite not paying him (because I didn't realise it was £30!)

When you show the unfolded pamphlet on camera; In the column that says "autographs" the man in the glasses looks like 'Inside The Actors Studio' host James Lipton. Did he come back from the dead for a signing?
