(Whopper Plopper 60) Unboxing and Review!

Күн бұрынHi there! I went to a local creek and did some preliminary testing of the WP 60. I had several strikes and although I didn't catch a lot of fish, there was quite a bit of action. I will be testing it some more for sure. Do I recommend this lure? Yes! This is perfect for top water fishing small creeks, ponds, spillways, streams, and grassy areas near banks. Good Evening Mr. Casual Observations, I ENJOYED your dialog on the Whopper Plopper 60 Unboxing and Review! LOL! I have been fishing for Over 40 years and never have I seen quite the Set- Up with an Ugly Stik Rod like yours my Friend! DUDE!! LOL! :-) I own 12 Ugly Stik Rods alone! WOW! Some are over 15 years old and I am still "SLAY"N "em to this day! LOL! It Just Don't Get Better than THIS! :-) My son who's 23, is Amazed at the durability that these rods have endured! There are a well built rod for the beginer or veteran I am a Testement to this.:-) Keep up the Excellent Work my Friend and Remember to Never Cease To Fish!" I use bread ties on my treble hook baits it keeps them from tangling up and scratching the finish

The white one is sick, i custom paint mine. The Rapala Rip Stop is a new bait that works great , was catching rainbiws and smallies on it the other day.

There's only one whopper plopper that's the river to sea brand. I've tried the 75 the 90 and 110 and up I've never tried the 60 it's getting warmer and fishing is picking up so I want to try them 60s it looks like it would be a good faness lure some of my trophy fish have ben caught on smaller lures and bait.

Thanks for watching! I’ve had a lot of fun throwing it. I like using 6lb mono on it. It works great in creeks and ponds. Ponds and lakes I like to cast it parallel to the bank. I’ve also had good luck with it in rivers hugging the bank and pitching it along seams and breaks. Have fun throwing it on your fishing adventures!

Thats great to hear! I'd love to dome fishing over in Europe! I used to live in Spain and never got the chance to do it. I will do it for sure the next time I go back!

BFS is fishing ultralight lures and line with a baitcaster, so why not. The lure weighs 1/4 oz., well within the range of BFS lures so casting would be no problem.

Do you believe that the whopper plopped 75 is better with the perch color or bluegill color?

I prefer the Perch color, then Bone, then Loon.

I don’t understand why you guys like those flimsy rods. If you’d have been using a medium or even a medium light with a fast tip then you’d have driven that hook deeper into the fish and may have not lost the fish at the bank. Just my 2 cents. At least you’re fishing lol

Whopper plopper was a bass lure, also I caught my pb muskie in Wisconsin with whopper plopper and it was 40 inches
