🥺 Yeah, Jin just about gave ARMY a heart attack with this speech and Hobi and V absolutely broke me. They're brutally honest sometimes; it's part of why they're so relatable. They've also used their speeches to call out corruption in the music industry and even rooting for their boss to succeed with his diet. 😂

When Jin spoke about disbandment... I think there was a collective gasp from Armys around the world. We knew they had tough times, but disbandment?!?! BTS has made me cry so much. 😪

I can't watch Hobi cries ... his sunshine smile is so ingrained when he shed tears it break my heart even more than the other members. I am grateful they stay united and strong in their bond to this day, too many boy band come and go and it's not easy to have 7 people united, their love and selflessness must be quite extraordinary.

BTS helped me threw the birth of my son in 2014 (he ended up being 8 weeks prem). I spent my days and nights in NICU just listening and watching them, being able to smile and laugh a little instead of just sitting there crying, feeling helpless, and hopless. Threw out the years of mental health and physical health ups and downs, their music really helped me and when I saw this in 2019, my mother had just passed away 1 mth prior to this speech. Jins' moment had me dying and at the same time causing a great wave of relief knowing that for ARMYs, they had chosen a far harder path for themselves so we wouldn't be left behind. At least, that's how it felt to me. I felt left behind by my mother. I don't think I would not have been mentally okay had they disbanded as well in 2019. They really did get me through so much. It may seem weird to some if not many that 7 guys who a person has never met could affect them so much, but it is what it is 😂😅. Wonderful reaction as always ☺️💜

Their love for each other and for ARMYS is just so unreal. I never found any artist like them. (I didn't say there aren't, just haven't found anyone except BTS) Proud ARMY here! 💜

They really deserve what they have right now, they received so much hate since their debut. I still remember way back 2016 the 1st word on stage for their 1st daesang (grand prize) is "ARMY" now they have 900 physical tropies including 73 daesang +MAMA platinum award I'm so proud, considering that i am an ARMY for so long. They help me to love myself. I've learned so much from them, that it is okay to not have a dream, to keep going no matter what. they comfort me through their music and messages. Being an ARMY is not easy sometimes but I wouldn’t change it for the world and will defend and protect them 100% These men have changed my life and as we are in Chp 2 and see them do their solo work and then go to enlist, I will wait for them until the day they reunite. I cried again after years. Those tears of my boys is the relief of so much pressure from the industry. Hate, discrimination. The constant death threats. Sabotage your lists and presentations. Those tears are of pain and gratitude. Today they are the largest in the industry. but they left tears, sweat and blood on the way.

This one gets me every time. I'm also someone that as soon I see someone start crying, I cry as well. They are so sincere in their speeches and this one was just gut-wrenching.

They make us all emotional. If you happen to listen to Outro Tear (the live is a MUST see) it’s a song Suga wrote during the time they went away to discuss breaking up. It’s a heart wrenching rap song and just playing them a sketch of it had all the boys in tears and they eventually made the decision to stick together.

Every time I see this vid i remember RM said/quoted "Heavy is the head that wears the Crown". This was the time they gained massive success in the US and they didn't expect it to be that big, to the point that they were burdened by all the pressures, expectations and challenges that came with fame that they wanted to let go of everything (disband). 😭 you can really see Bts character and attitude. They are not here just for the money or fame but because of their love for ARMY and their music.

I am always so struck by BTS' emotional honesty. It comes through in their music too - they will convey with great gentleness truths which can be brutal if we really consider what they mean. They work hard to protect us from what they know may hurt us but are still willing to share with us their pain, and not to hide their vulnerability. That is what makes them strong - stronger than all of us who do not dare to be vulnerable or to weep in public. I was depressed for most of my life, though few people knew because I was "strong". Only when I stopped being "strong" did I start to heal - and if that meant weeping when I was at work, then I did - not to say I made a show of it, but I learned I could weep silently, and still focus on getting work done. I came to look at my weeping as a superpower - it relieves my pain, releases endorphins, and doesn't stop me doing what I have to. It's only when we classify weeping as a weakness that it becomes one. Only when we try to fight them do tears become exhausting. I now think of my tears as a natural phenomenon, like rain, or sweat, and nobody's business but mine, so they need no apology.

This speech puts everyone through the emotional wringer. But one thing we can all learn from them is that it's okay to cry and show your tears. I think it's harder for people to show their vulnerability than to show their strength, and that's something special that BTS continually demonstrates. It helps keep them on the same human plane as everyone else, and is one of the many reasons why Army loves them so deeply. If you continue on this journey, this will not be the last time they make you cry. You don't need to apologize for it. 🫂💜

Jhope rarely cries thats why members starts tearing up .To other people 2018 is one of the best time to bts award here and there, guesting here and there internationally,concerts and performances to performances but no one knows that the boys are in there most hard years emotionally to the point that they are contemplating to disband and stop it was overwhelming to them . Personally I was really happy they won in 2018 as best artists after the 2017 shit that other fan’s did just because bts won and not their idol.

I watched this live at like 6am and had been up hours before to see them perform. Even though I couldn't understand what was being said you could still see and hear their pain, especially when Jin dropped the bomb about their struggles earlier that year. Twitter was a mess once the translations came out and even though I'd only been ARMY for about 5 months at that point it broke my heart. I think it's important for people to see this particular speech only to drive home that they're humans with thoughts, emotions and experience hard times just like you and me. BTS and ARMY have this symbiotic relationship that's hard to explain but I think it clearly sets us apart due to how willing they are to stand up and share their tears with us - both good and bad. Now go watch a crack (funny) video to chase away the tears and cry with laughter instead!

It's when Tae crumples that I really lose it. He pulled himself together until Jin said that - and it hit him so hard. And we get a little more of what's behind Hobi's tears at the beginning. Have you watched Outro: Tear yet? I can't remember.... if you haven't, just remember this moment when you do. They're deeply connected. Watching them not only have these sincere feelings on stage, but also support each other - offering comfort, but also giving space for the tears - is so beautiful.

Oh my, you watched it! It was truly heartbreaking. But it gives you a view of what they have been through, and how real and open they are. Real humble, genuine guys.

2018 was a terrible year for BTS emotionally. They were incredibly burned out from tour, and working on an album. too much more was expected of them. They lost direction for a while. Certain members fell into depression, and they all took a month off separate from the group to reflect. When they came back there were many tears and thoughts that their dreams would end. From the older ones who felt so much pain about their direction to the youngest, who was practically raised by his hyungs, they suffered quite a bit. Suga and RM pulled out the wisdom that kept them together. Black Swan, about an artist giving up their art, was a creation of this period. So they were uncertain about this reward at the end of the year, and amazed they won. That's why so many tears on stage.

Made me emotional too, you don't see Hobi (j-hope) cry often so when he broke down (and still looked amazing, just so moved) it got me even tho I've seen this many times... well done for getting through it. So it looks like you're diving ever deeper down this rabbit hole.. do you know how you want to do this? If you go organically, you will see some Mis, some live shows, some interviews etc and you might spoil future stuff, but it'll be at your own pace in your own way. If you go chronologically you see their evolution and watch them grow, which is fun, you're still new enough you can do that. If you go via recommendations you're jumping back and forth in time, but it's fun to be led, however you might miss things and is someone going to keep note of what you've seen? Personally I listened to each album chronologically and watched the corresponding videos which was good, learning about them from their music and artistic choices made it easier for me to tune out the solo/anti/manti stans and avoid all the shipping weirdness and just concentrate on THEM which is where the artistry is. We're all happy to support you so please do let us know what you want... I'm excited to be subscribed to a dancer who gets it 😃

I can’t count how many times I’ve seen this and I cry every time, there is at least 2 more video’s made by Army that with make you cry even more, but well worth reacting to, many Army can already guess we’re I’m going, Spring Day, a song forever in our hearts not only because the boys sing this because they miss us, but a very powerful dedication to the Sewol ferry tragedy, the explanation by Italian Army is really good, after this you should be clear of tears for awhile.
