Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. I really liked this bit! It was fun. Didn’t feel so scripted, more natural. That’s what I miss about late night shows at home…the more organic natural vibe of the shows.

😂 As someone who has had colorectal surgery because of internal hemorrhoids and a nasty fissure, I'm really glad Kristen mentioned that they're a possible symptom of childbirth! A lot of people don't know this. That surgery is even more painful than childbirth itself! 😞🤕

A second season of Horne and Corden? A Lesbian Vampire Killers sequel? Yeah, too often people leave a job that’s going well because their ambition makes them think they can do something bigger and better. Soap opera actors are a classic example - they might be a beloved long-time character but leave to pursue a pop singer or Hollywood career - but they rarely replicate the success they achieved in the soap. That’s why they’re always better to leave the door open rather than have their character killed off. I like James but I can’t see him doing anything that’s as big a success as this. He has a lot of haters who are happy to watch League Of Their Own or Gavin & Stacey but have nothing but criticism for every aspect of his personality. They even think he’s having genuine tantrums when he’s just playing an exaggerated version of himself. I like the fact that he knows he’s flawed and is willing to make himself the target in jokes/skits.

He probably doesn’t want his kids growing up in where what to do if there’s an active shooter with a semi-automatic weapon is a standard part of the school curriculum or where the next president is the ex-president who is notoriously thin-skinned and prone to vendettas and who he’s had a lot of bad things to say about. The UK is not the UK that he left. It’s really gone downhill - if you think electing Trump was an act of national self-harm then try Brexit and a dozen years of Tory government.

7 years with the fissure?? I’ve had one for almost a year and it’s so freaking painful. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Never have heard anyone talking about it tho. I’m so sorry girl! Literally feeling your pain! Supposed to have mine removed soon.. super nervous about it.
