Because PVI also gave Montverde a game. And PVI did it without a 5 star center to slow down queen ( I know that derrion Reid didn’t play for prolific in either game)

i love these kinda high school matchups where both teams have potential pro players on them and are well-matched up in size & skill..and a packed electrified gym

This game brought me back to what its actually like to play in front of a packed gym in the biggest high school game of the year. These kind of games hold such incredible, breath-taking and nostalgic moments in time for the players especially. Its what we all dream about

Absolutely terrible camera work. I don’t know if it’s just one dude sharing footage or if this is an idiotic trend now but it needs to be ditched. It’s not haphazard….there’s some intention to it as if to try and create action with the videography. Not only do you get to watch just 2 or 3 players at a time, you get to do it from an inch off the floor. And, top it off with following a ball, in flight from a shooter all herky-jerky. A pretty big play went down at 14:42, but because the camera was focused up somewhere in the air, we couldn’t see how it resolved. No one ever experiences game play like this, in person or televised. Ever. Why?

High school basketball just isn't as good as it used to be. Late 90 early 2000s teams like oak hills and many more would smoke this montverde team. I know everyone thinks high school ball has evolved but it hasn't. Years back these top notch teams emphasized defense where now they take one dribble and get to the hoop or shoot wide open 3s. Defense kills. Aau has watered players down. Just no defense anymore. Also I'm not racist but theres lots more half black half whites that play now. They don't make as good of players as full blacks. Not as athletically inclined.

@@JohnJohnson-lm7ko I’m 40 years old .. I was there .. I played in the early 2000s .. those early teams you said got smoked by Lebrons team .. and that’s all they had .. you really gonna say this team with 3 kids bigger than Lebron would get smoked?!?! You talking crazy .. then wanna say I’m not racist and then give a racist statement .. #braindead
@JohnJohnson-lm7ko6 ай бұрын
@@scuba0022 yes I'm racist. Lightskins ain't as athletic. And yes you can't tell by watching but defense destroys. I can see the difference though. If u wanna believe that these teams are great good for u. Another example of defense destroying is chet holmgren. Kid sucked in college couldn't barely get 12 points a game. Got pushed around and now miraculously he's a star in the NBA. Wonder why. Because the NBA doesn't play defense and isn't physical anymore. More watered down basketball making scrub players look like stars.
@marcarnold86836 ай бұрын
Teams was real back then not put together, so you really saw how talented you was. Oak hill started all that put together players from all over. I think it’s weak.
