The whole reason the toy maker here is using the German accent is because at that point of the story he is masquerading and having fun as a literal old school toy maker which began in Germany, as we’ve heard him without the accent when he says “the shows about to begin” in a previous trailer plus he goes through many outfits which we see, his old toy maker suit, the tailcoat where he almost seems like he’s gloating, then his nutcracker suit where I believe he’s doing a big musical number because it’s NPH and you don’t get NPH without a musical number, then that outfit when he was sat on the canon was very science like so I think he’s also inside unit without them knowing.

I don't think the German accent is the Toymaker's accent. It's just when he's posing as a German, 1925, literal toymaker.

hi great reaction. As someone who grew up with doctor who. i was born in 1969 so my first introduction was the 3rd incarnation of the doctor played by Jon Pertwee. My absolute fave doctor though is David Tennant 🥰 and i’m not just saying that because we are both Scottish. David Tennant is perfect as the doctor and i’m so happy he’s back and i can watch the show again. I hated Jodie as the doctor 🤮🥱 she ruined the show for me so i haven’t seen the show in a while i only watched jodie’s first episode to know how bad it was and her last to see her regenerate into David. One thing i’m worried about is the regeneration into Ncuti. I haven’t gotten over David’s regeneration as 10 yet and i still cry watching re-runs of it 😭 David Tennant plays his characters effortlessly he’s such a phenomenal actor. I love everything he does. I’m glad Donna is back too she is my fave human companion in nu who.
