Fair statement? …. The Steeze sits between the M Gnar and M Firecracker? My logic is a solid river runner with touch of playfulness on familiar/confident runs. Scary, in my Gnar. Full playtime down the river, in my FC. Make sense? I’m 175lbs as well. Thanks!!

I liked the steeze a lot I like the firecracker 252 more though
@moorewood5 ай бұрын
Interesting, I didn’t think they were that similar. Would you put the 252 ahead of the L ripper for technical river running?
@blakesommers773 жыл бұрын
Wow, it boats WAY better with the pod off. Nice reviews 🤛

As usual great video!!! You compared the Rewind and Antix to this boat. The Rewind being more 50/50 play and river runner and the Antix being more playful less river runner. Where do think the Ripper 2 compares to the Steeze? Thanks in advance!
@WadeHarrison6 ай бұрын
The medium ripper falls right there with the rewind the Large is closer to the steeze I currently am paddling the large I like a bigger boat

What do you think about the pod-less steeze for a 155-160lb paddler? Is it gonna swamp a smaller boater? Or just be overly difficult to throw down?
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
It’s a really big boat and I know smaller guys paddle it You would be on the very very low side I feel I’m on the low end and I’m 175 I really suggest they do a smaller steeze this is for sure a large

@@WadeHarrison New waka boat introduced today (the goat) looks to be the answer for that! Pretty slick looking kayak.

Now i want to see you paddle an Old School New Wave Cruise Control. The OG half slice. 1992.

Ok I think I know who had one I want to get in more of the older design it’s so good to see the progress in half slice

hey wade, I'm 2 years late on this video, so I'll comment on one of your more recent videos too, but would you recommend this for a 6'7 260lbs paddler? I'm looking for a playful boat but often have trouble fitting in to boats apart from my large machno
@WadeHarrison Жыл бұрын
At your height and weight your going to be tight in this one i would recommend looking at the RMX96 or scorch L both would be better and if wanting a HalfSlice player go with Rewind Large

Thinking of getting one of these for the bigger runs. You comment that you like the low volume stern for getting your weight back and your bow over stuff. Do you think the puffy Steeze would lose this quality?
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
Big volume is exactly where this boat belongs!! But it did ok on the Low volume stuff but not great..
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
I did not see the point in the puff steezy I really really liked that boat as is..

I recommend you try Tuna 2.0, this boat is unique.

Hi Wade , how do you fell the waka Steeeze puffy stern when you have to roll it??? easy ?? I want to change for my JK Nirvana , i will apreciate your opinion
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
I have not paddled the puffy version only the one with the pod and it’s not a super playful boat it’s like a very aggressive Creeker I can tell you though the Nirvana will be way easier to roll then the steeze it’s an aggressive kayak but if you have decent technique you will be fine the tail is not underwater like the other half slice out there
@matthewdunlea8753 жыл бұрын
Can u do a comparison from that to a puffy steeze

Loving the vids recently Wade good shit, was wondering if you ever get the chance to get hold of a Waka Gangsta if you'd be up for making a review on that, really interested to see how it squares up compared to other "9ft" creekers out there (pyranha 9r, dagger phantom, etc)

I did paddle one awhile back but it was just paddling I did not do a walkthrough on it I wish I could get my hands on one again

it's a creek boat, and the best big water boat out there.
@WadeHarrison2 жыл бұрын
I would totally agree with that
@scottwoodhouse99423 жыл бұрын
Is that the puffy stern, or the regular?
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
This is the regular steeze I looked at some of the puffy ones not that much difference
@ronanlanam11273 жыл бұрын
With being at that 9 foot size, how is it in terms of speed?
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
It’s really wide so it’s not really a fast boat compared to rewind and ripper it holds it speed well but slow to get up to speed
@joembmx3 жыл бұрын
put the pod on the Sun Dolphin
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
HahHah I’m so curiously someone attempted to paddle the north fork in a dam wal mart sun dolphin omg the look on their face when coming into the top of boxcar because think about it they would have fine up to that point and by the spot where it was washed up that’s what I’m thinking happened??
