Last time I stopped yoyoing was in 1996. Now I am 44, I am getting back to it casually... But we don't know... Maybe I will compete again... But I need to be updated with the current technology available right now.

Crazy how many players from back then have quit
@radiantchart567823 күн бұрын
The dedication it takes for this is a lot since I know 2 people who used to yoyo with me now they just decided to quit and I almost did the same

Some players just quit yoyoing because of the lack of encouragement in some countries
@robertbearden78523 күн бұрын
I quit when I was younger because there was nothing YoYo related anywhere around me I live in the us but if you’re not near big cities there’s usually nothing around sadly. I got back in recently now that I can travel myself

I'll write this here. Yoyos have been a private venture for me. I've been on and off for 15 years now. Never really stopped completely but when I would throw it wouldn't be for long. Obliterated my shoulder back in 22, had reconstructive surgery. I had to relearn how to throw and even now I struggle with breakaways. I'll never compete, I understand the amount of pure work that goes into it. However I believe that spreading the art in general like old school demonstrators to spark people into wanting to learn is worth just as much to me as a title. Just know without your content I would have stopped completely when I was in college. We're the same age, thanks bro. It's now 2024 and I'm heading to worlds with a bro I met that's on team Yomega and another bro that's in my local area throwing a meet in July. I've also been having too much fun with tik tok so I don't see myself putting them down, I'll be 80 doing gyros in the nursing home trying to impress the ladies.

Brother, I'm 33. Please making more content i don't care what you have to do, but just upload something, anything. Every time i see one of you guys that i looked up to making uploads it always inspires me to do more, come up with ideas and trying new things. Thank you for all the uploads Brandon.

Ik its unrelated to the video but Imo i think why most yoyoers quit (in general) is the lack of quality tutorials. Esp with the intermediate level. Too many of them are just them doing the trick but slightly slowed down with zero explination, it makes it super fustrating as someone whos learning and when people complain about it. Its often met with just "youre bad, youll get it once u get good" and its like duh, thats why we're watching tutorials, because we arent good yet.
@froilanburbos350720 күн бұрын
I've started going through the Yo-Yo Tricks app library when I started going at it again. Though for more technical stuff Yo-Yo Joe definitely has the best tutorials in my opinion.
@scoobain77443 күн бұрын
There is still Cabin tutorials or SLUSNY tutorials which are very nice I think. Also imo it’s abot the time you can give to yoyo or any other hobby.
@Rhythm162.3 күн бұрын
@scoobain7744 idk slunsly but cabin is the exact thing I really hate in yoyo tutorials, they explain nothing and just do the trick. I prefer videos in the style of yoyo rewind's shorts
@scoobain77443 күн бұрын
@@Rhythm162. Check Slusny as there are all beginners and pro tricks for the trick list. Also more, which are the basics for combos. Rewind are more about specific combo I would say but also good!!

Normally Size C Bearing using a M4*8mm axle you can find it in hardware store. Remember to sand down the scratches on the surface before you install it

The nice thing is when you wind down on competing, you just have to wait a few years and the over 40 division opens up for you. We will welcome you with open arms and aspirin for the back/shoulder pain😂

I quit cause my yoyo string broke when I threw it which threaded the axle so I'm saving up rn for the yoyo

Brandon what do you believe is the best way be creative! Like you haven’t made a new trick in a while and just really want to make something new! So how do you force yourself to be inspired? Do you intentionally find tutorials!? Do you make yourself watch freestyles online untill your like, oh that was cool, let’s learn it! So what do you do?? This could also be a cool KZfaq video! Haha!
