Why even watch sports if you’re going to be like that? Sports fandom is not just about winning and success. It’s about community and bonding over a shared interest/passion. If you’re just going to jump from team to team based on their success, why follow it at all? You can just appreciate the sport in general, without having an allegiance to a team. But you can’t call yourself a fan of something if you jump at the first sign of failure. If you’re not around when times are tough, you don’t deserve to enjoy the victories. And I don’t even know how much you can enjoy it anyway. What would it even mean to you, if you haven’t experienced the journey with that team. It’s an empty, soulless victory for you.
