AD Twisted Fate has been a pocket pick for me since forever (approximately 12 years ago, Season 2), and unfortunately I picked him up right after AD TF stopped being normal or too viable, but that never stopped me from playing the funny yugioh gambler man the way I wanted to, even coming up with some of my worst brainfart builds during this time (Muramana AD TF... because Muramana scaled with Current mana, and Blue Card restored mana... I thought I was so smart...). But as one of my first (and many) mains in League of Legends, this makes Twisted Fate my longest-staying pick that I still pick today, even if he hasn't had too much spotlight on the channel or the streams for the longest time. Maybe it's time to change that!

As someone who's been playing ad tf every season since season 8, I'm actually surprised at how good of a guide this was. I see so many videos that give bad itemization or playstyle advice because they're just trying to get clicks when they don't understand the champion but this was really good. Kudos!

6:33 it is even better considering that card rotation begins where it stopped so you can lock in gold card early and then spam it once it goes off cd for another stun.

I have a bit of a history with Twisted Fate... Back in my first frew years of League (2013-2015ish) I was a TF and Galio main. Every game on TF I wouldn't recall until I had 1600g for a Needlessly Large rod, which would go into DFG. I would then continue to go Zonya's Hourglass, along with 3-4 Deathcaps for that spicy 1k AP. I don't think I ever bought more than T1 boots because I always sold it for Deathcap anyways. Around this time, I was on a laptop with no mouse. Eventually, I picked up Galio (I miss old Galio W and R so much...). Around 2015 is when I really started climbing from my first season at Silver 1, to where I'd end up at Plat 2. I forget what I was playing at the time, but between Gold 4-1 I played nothing but AP/tank Xin Zhao and onhit/tank TF Jungle. This was a time when antiheal was rarely bought, nobody was getting oneshot, and these picks actually thrived very well. For the past year or two, although I tried some TF jungle (his clear speed is terrible but it was a good pick after one item), I've been playing TF adc for a while. Despite the lack of scalings, he was actually very strong once you got past laning phase with a couple items. I found he got exponentially stronger with some items, like a Vayne, and would often carry games I played with my friends where someone like Jhin would just get a kill and die. With all that said, you can probably understand that I am both very excited, and yet fearful, of AD TF being good. This is the moment I was BORN for! Thanks for the video covering one of my favorite picks ever!

I hope people watch this. Whenever I see an AD TF it's always vs burst builds like mages, assassins, Miss Fortunes etc, and they literally can't play because they die in 2-4 seconds.

Its cool if they open the opportunity to at least not being a troll pick so if there is a matchup that is better to go ad you go ad if not you go ap and do something good for your team in the drafts

Wait, TF means Twisted Fate? I thought it meant Tom Foolery, a little bit of Timid Mayhem, a light amount of Total Madness. But besides that, been enjoying a bit of TF recently (even before the buff) and trying the full Kircheis shard build + Navori and Sorcerer boots. Sometimes you pop a squishy, sometimes you deal 5 damage to full tank ORNN.

I am still completely seething over Blitz jungle revert. I was playing it anyway before he got those buffs but it gets harder every season. Actually dunno about that last part, haven't tried it yet.

Dont think the range disadvantage is that bad. With the right support i dont think hes much worse than a nilah or kallista range wise

ADC. He's vulnerable to lethality adcs and engage supps but at least you have a support to help out, and not nearly as vulnerable as he is to having his wave frozen and denied by a strong top laner like Aatrox. Definitely try and watch the enemy top laner pick first if you're going top.
