The fact that Nelson threw his over his PB by 5 feet on his last throw of the Olympic Trial finals is ridiculous.

It was a PB 5 feet beyond THE PREVIOUS MONTH'S best, not his PB going into the competition or during the competition. Listen to the commentary.

I've thrown against both Bloom and Nelson. Actually, I was on Bloom's team a few times, in the Adirondack region Empire State Games team.

I am amazed at how much better Nelson's tech looks in this vid verses more current videos. He looks more relaxed and has no trouble with fouling.

think of what won the olympics in 04. it was like 69'5 or something. but think of how many u.s guys could make that mark. hoffa, nelson, cantwell, whiting, godina, manz, johnson, bryant, and i might be missing a few. its sick how awesome the u.s is in the shot
