Can't even say Jake because he was a favorite in most of his fights until he fought Tommy, but JJ has always been the underdog while his opponent is always the odds on favorite.

follwed JJ now for over 10 years and I would consider myself a fan of him. However, i hope he gets humbled in this fight. Being an avid boxing fan, I cannot stand the delusion he has, saying he is 'amazing', he has a great chin cause he took an upper cut off of logan etc. He needs to understand that he is a good amateur fighter, which he should be cause he can get the best coaches, best chefs, no 9-5 job which can make time for training hard etc.

@@bradcw123 I feel the same exact way, I've been watching him for a long time as well but he's due for an ego check. He's always in the mindset that he can and will beat anyone. If you put him against a prime Mike Tyson or Muhammad Ali or any of the boxing legends he'd go in believing that he's going to KO them and that they stand no chance against him. I love JJ but he needs to understand where he's truly at on the ladder so I'm ready for Tommy to knock him down a few rungs, not wishing any ill-will against him but this is just how it is in boxing

Exactly, as soon as jj stepped in the ring he knew he couldn’t out box tommy, all that hugging and cinching took away Tommy’s element, by closing him in and taking away all of his strong punches. In the endgame, Ksi definitely wasn’t robbed but tommy should be embarrassed to call that a win.

There is a huge difference between confidence and overconfidence. People like JJ's confidence, it is infectious. What they don't like is his overconfidence that borders on arrogance. When he sits there saying his opponent can't do anything to him and isn't a threat and so on, it shows a lack of realism. And when he talks about Fury's past opponents without acknowledging that he himself hasn't really fought anyone, it's just hypocritical. I could keep going, but to make it simple, people LOVE JJ's confidence, but they HATE when he appears to not be taking it seriously.

So do what you will with what I am about to say: Regardless of what anyone says, the guys ego has just skyrocketed. And he has every right to be confident, of course. But there is a huge difference between confidence and arrogance. He lost the fight against Fury and regardless of whether you think he was "robbed" the guys first words were that the system was rigged. Take the L and do a follow up like an adult. Then there is the fact he does business with Logan Paul (we can leave everything out that he did when he was younger and my point still stands), who is a scam artist. Great idea financially, terrible idea in the eyes of people who look at him as some sort of role model. When Max Fosh brought this up at the recent sidemen roast, all he said was "it is what it is"... What? He is a multimillionaire partnered with another, and that's all he can say about those less well off who were robbed blind by his business partner? JJ came from nothing, and so being that out of touch is just bizarre to me. If you honestly believe that this isn't JJs problem or that it's not his business so his opinion holds no water, you need to try to understand the concept that although you aren't doing anything wrong, as far as we are aware, doing deals with shady people makes you look just as untrustworthy. I used to like KSI, honestly. But the whole boxing thing has gotten so far to his head. When Deji last boxed, KSI said he was doing it right this time by staying humble and not chatting so much shit, both of which JJ has not done. This is all just my opinion, if you wish to think for yourself instead of following the leader, I'd love to hear others opinions regarding the above.

Hoping your comment gets seen by more people, there’s a lot of truth to what you said and people are throwing in their support / hate without any real conviction. There are so many surface level comments that lack any real meaning yet get liked by hundreds of people.

Well said, honestly. I wanted the guy to win, yet my gut feeling kept telling me that it just wasn’t going to happen. There is no denying how egotistical he has become, or how shady he looks partnered up with Logan. I think he should back away and give it another shot, as in a rematch, but with a different mindset and different style, or to just end his “legacy” by beating Jake whenever they decide to do so. I get the feeling his next upload will either be “How I was robbed/How I actually won” or “Well… this is awkward”, I hope it’s the latter.
