So true not enough people help and when your solo sailing it can be much appreciated when they do. Especially in the beginning. Where I'm from and United States in the northwest there are many people who would rather watch you wreck into the a dock then help you not.

That sound on the mountain was a rock ptarmigan or Fjellrype. They have amazing camoflage

What an amazingly beautiful spot. Although, it looks very cold. Now, I somewhat understand how my Scandinavian family members thought it was a good idea to emigrate to some of the coldest places in the United States.... lol. Nice camera work and editing! As I'm sure you realized, you should have turned back earlier due to unexpected weather. We almost imprint the phrase "There is no shame in turning around" in our children when it comes to moving around in nature here. Also, gloves are almost mandatory when going up mountains outside high summer. We joke about putting away our winter mittens and bring out summer mittens. Well, the joke, if it's a joke, is really about some really thick wool socks, but doesnt work the same in translation, even to those southern folks.

is it possible that there's a underwater cliff across the bottom of the fjord which would force the water to hit it and raise up and turn back on its self for a short distance until your boat passes the underwater cliff or obstacle, just a idea.
