As someone who does alot of offroading, side by sides are generally more expensive, harder to repair, and the more expensive ones have so much torque that they destroy trails, you made a good choice

Great choice! You made a great decision brother! I have a side by side but I miss my fourwheeler alot. Much more control and can go more places since it's not so dang big. You can also have better visuals around your machine to travel better. Plus Minion is happy.

I have a side by side but it's a smaller one, only cost 2.5k it's a trailmaster 300 xrx, does 46 mph and has a Yamaha 276cc moped engine in it, it's cheaper than most name brand ATVs

On the dog carrier straps. Maybe a traditional car seatbelt with buckle setup. nice wide strap, and easy to operate. Wouldn’t want the ratcheting mechanism, just the belt & latch setup.

@@elijahevo6859 yeah but it’s a 300 lol. I own an Outlander like Nate. Mines an 850 and it goes about 70mph. My XP 1000 RZR though. I love it. 🔥. SXS are superior imo but I love both for their different uses. My canam is more for work vs the SXS is more for fun. Plus my father having 200 acres makes for lots of fun and work

@@403outdoors4 did you not see the part where I said I have both? We have 213 acres. Some places are better for a sxs and some uses are meant for a fourwheeler. My RZR also has an upgraded turbo, intercooler, roll cage, BOV, shocks and wheels. Easily get to 90-110 depending on the weather and road conditions. I’ve hit 87mph with 4 people in it. Can your outlander do that?

Lighter and also don't destroy your trails as much. These new SxS machines are the size of cars. They absolutely ruin our double track here. No room to maneuver around them on the trails. Would hate to be on the receiving end of one while riding my dirtbike coming around a corner. Team ATV here. Great vehicles for work.

They're both two completely different tools. But I believe a 4-wheeler is much more versatile. Plus you can still go ridin with the boys. Not that you can't with a side x side.

Honestly I'm surprised he didn't get a small tractor like a Kubota BX or something a little bigger. Those tractors are pretty good workhorses and my dad has two plus a big tractor and I got one at my place because I only got a big driveway I have to take care of plus yard work

I rly think you should consider over designing your doggo’s seat so he do a lassy if you get pinned. Also raising the sides a bit so it’s impossible for him to get crushed in a rollover. But I realize I might be doing a Karen over here.
