It's hard to find a livable wage in my area. I found a very good opportunity for $20 an hour with overtime and an opportunity like that is very hard in my town. Most jobs here only pay $12 an hour and maybe $14 an hour if you're lucky. The average rent is $800 a month, so $12 an hour doesn't help when you include utilities, loan payments, family, and groceries. With a low paying job, the only way to make it is to have a roommate. All the apartments locally will only let you move in with a 600 credit score minimum, and credit scores around here are required. It's stupid that places require you to be in debt to live.

Not necessarily it's all about strategy when you are looking for a job. Once you pick up a side gig work that job for like two years and start looking for an extra job that will offer you full time. The secret behind it is you have to find employers that understand how inflation actually works they shouldn't be insulted if I want two jobs at 18 an hour and the only reason it's 18 an hour is because we have union reps you could probably pick up two jobs if you have someone protecting your job but you need to explain to them that your trying to finish your degree online at home and just keep applying at these full time spots till they hire you. I found one job that was looking for bar tenders at red robin staring at 36 an hour but it includes the tips. And if I re adjusted my grocery store job for the weekends it might work because they usually only schedule me for two days a week. People will stop disrespecting you when you stop letting them push you around you don't have to be a manager to get rich you just have to compete with those managers by showing them that labor workers are the ones that are actually running there businesses.

Recruiters are useless 😂 At this point we need a Universal Basic Income and we're better off just demanding that from our country than looking for a job. Think about it: the country has the money, it gives so much to other countries. A job should be a right yet companies can reject people for any reason (ie despite discrimination laws they can still reject applicants who are a certain race or gender, if they are too old, if a woman is around the age to have kids, or if a woman doesn't wear makeup, etc.) and even the easiest jobs don't pay enough for basic needs. If you think we should hustle and work to the bone for rent and food then that's the problem and sadly the mindset of these companies and arguably our own government l But, we can change that.

You are completely right, it is the government’s fault that the world is like this right now, them and the secret elite families running the world right now. They dont give a shit about what happens to us normal citizens. It’s going to get real bad, like REAL bad soon. You have operatives saying to get out of the U.S SOON. I tried applying to federal law enforcement and to my dismay and research in the hiring process, I found out some dirty secrets. The media says on thing on the news, but something else is truly going in behind the scenes. Much like this terrible job market right now. Something is NOT RIGHT. LEAVE the U.S!

Referrals nowadays is almost impossible. Let me give you an example GM and Oshawa Ontario Canada you cannot contact them at any number it's all online, they keep reposting the same add after they paused it so you cannot reapply without making a new email. I've made seven new emails I've had my resume professionally done I've worked in the field of automotive production for 10 years before that under a company that was owned by GM and they still won't hire me. So....nice sentiment....but with online and robots....you have no chance. And alot of companies won't accept referrals. And living in Canada as a man....makes you more undesirable.

I've been unemployed for 5 years because no company will want to hire you unless you have the exact requirements. Plus, companies don't hire because they make more money not hiring you. The United States Federal Government pays out billions of dollars in grants to companies who "try" to hire but don't actually hire. Then all that money becomes pocket change for directors and stakeholders. Welcome to 2024. You will NEVER get a job. I can't even get a job as a grocery bagger. Think about that man.

all these systems filter out black applicants regardless - best way to get a job if u black is by referral - or just lie lol sadly i didnt get a call back on any jobs for 7 months because i put black , male heterosexual so i said let me change that and see if i get diff results and sure enough when i changed sex to white & sexual orientation homosexual i got called back i got called back

Are these companies asking for sexual orientation or are you putting it on a resume? I haven't had a single callback in almost a year at this point, but hey, if bein' gay is gonna land me some work then I guess I love the dick 🤷‍♂️

If this is true I'm trying it. I'm a white hetero male and haven't gotten anything in a field I've worked in for 5 years. Maybe if I say I'm a black trans woman they'll give me an interview.

Jesus Christ saved my life he can save yours to. No body is perfect we all have sinned fallen short of the glory of God, except Jesus Christ. So he was the perfect sacrifice for the world and he became that sacrifice. So that we can be perfect in God’s eyes all we need to do is. Repent from our sinful wicked ways and surrender our life’s to him. Jesus Christ. Repent meaning acknowledge and forsake your sins. Know you have sinned and know you are not good in God’s eyes. (Until you accept his gift of salvation. You will be seen perfect in his eyes because Jesus Christ paid the price.)Forsake meaning do not sin. (You may stumble but just rely on the Lord he’s got you in Jesus name.) We have to be clean and filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ said we must be born again of the spirit to enter The Kingdom of Heaven. (John 3:3) ! God bless you all. I love you all may you all find Jesus Christ as your Lord Savior . God bless brothas and sisters ❤❤! Thank God ❤️❤
