Why on earth, Are you hitting all the balls in the net? Why am I hitting all my tennis balls into the net? Firstly, what you don't realize is that you are keeping the racket too tight in your hand. If your arm and your wrist and your hand is too tight on the racquet, without realizing it, it's almost impossible to lift the ball. It's either gonna go in the net or it's either gonna go out. You need to relax your hand and then naturally the racquet will drop below the ball and you'll be able to lift the ball over the net. Secondly, what you want to watch is in tennis,it's a lifting game, you can't hit straight through the ball. If your racket swing path is straight through the ball, it's gonna go straight forward and into the net more often than not, there needs to be a stage on your swing where you're hitting up and over and forward at the same time. Remember, tennis is a lifting game. Many of you know that I am obsessed with legs when it comes to tennis. You need to understand the higher up you are with straight legs, the more you're going to hit down, the lower you are with your legs, the easier it's gonna be for you to hit up. You're gonna make it very hard for yourself to hit the ball up and over the net, if your legs are straight up, be sure to have your legs very, very low. Then lastly, understand that if you playing close stance, and you're putting too much weight on your front leg, automatically your head is dropping forward. And so the racket has to hit down. You have to if you go close stance, make sure that your back leg is low, and then you transfer the weight to the front leg. That way you are lower than the ball and you're able to hit the ball up.
