too bloody right,' 'JAW DROPPING ARE US !. Social media can be so cruel -it gives quarter -wits the opportunity to comment on everything and do so with impunity. People tend to forget 'manners' because they can't get a punch in the face for being cruel or rude. good to see you Richard ,glad you are looking so well. All the Best.

Richard, just keep on being you. :) I've purchased one guitar from you so far... a lovely little Dowina nylon-string, but I've also acquired a beautiful, used Eastman T59v as a result of your channel. I own some beautiful American Custom-Shop guitars from the F, G and M brands and a couple of gorgeous PRSi that I've acquired over the years... however what I've noticed is that the guitar I constantly pick up each day is my Eastman. It cost a fraction of the price of my most coveted guitars and yet it's up there with them, and I would still be a guitar-snob if it weren't for you. I can't bring myself to let go of many of my fancy US guitars because they're lovely and it's taken me years to find the right ones, but there are days where I look at the money I've burned in the search and wonder what beautiful instruments I'd now own - for a fraction of the price - and what I could have done with that money that I've spent, if I'd come across your channel earlier. Keep on keeping on. :)

It is not mandatory to watch your videos Richard, people watch them because they like you as much as they like your guitars. Please do not compromise in any way, keep being yourself!

I honestly don't mind that terminology, for me, when you say that, it's telling me that the guitar is great build quality and high end specifications for the price and having watched all your KZfaq videos and appreciating your honesty, if it wasn't jaw dropping you wouldn't say it. So please don't change to suit other people, just continue as you are.

I don't even know why someone would ask the question! You are very obviously enthusiastic about the guitars you sell. It doesn't matter how you describe them. Your passion for the instrument you sell is part of the reason why we watch these videos and why people buy from you. I would just not even think about it. Carry on as you always have :)

I think you’re great. I think the guitars you champion are superb. I look forward to he day when I can come in your shop and drop a few grand on 2 or 3 guitars, I really do. There is one guitar I think you would sell a shedload of at almost any price and that is a model based on the epiphone 1966 century model. That’s just my opinion mind. Keep doing what you are doing. I think you are great.

My jaw dropped when I came to your shop and saw a Gordon Smith Tele in the window. Jaw droopingly good. Then I got to try out a Faith Neptune guitar and it was jaw dropping too. Great tone. Fabulous setup. For a guitar lover your shop is an absolute destination of choice and you can just stand and gasp especially at the d’angelico guitars which ALL look jaw dropping. So don’t apologise.

Hi Richard! Since you have just posted this video, I thought I'll try and grab your attention and tell you that I just received the Dowina guitar I bought from you a couple of days ago. I came up especially from Slough during half-term and met Jon who was great but I didn't meet you unfortunately. I went with the intention of buying an Eastman but went for a spruce-top Dowina in the end and oh my goodness that thing chimes like nothing I've ever heard! The Eastman guitars were amazing too but the Dowina definitely called out to me and fitted in with what I needed. That famous saying of you don't choose the guitar, the guitar chooses you has never rung truer. I could not be happier with my purchase and your customer service. I highly recommend Richard's Guitars and the fact that you do things differently and are honest with your critique of everything. That's what attracted me to your videos in the first place and was enough to convince me to make a trip up there. Keep up the amazing work and I can confirm that all the guitars there are indeed 'jaw-dropping'! :-).

Oh thank you SO SO much. I've not been toooo great health wise since before Xmas (I posted on Facebook but didnt want to go on about it too much on the videos) and our family have been through a lot with kids / brexit / mental health consequences - so a strange time - but I have been blessed with the most wonderful people to work with who have just taken the bull by the horns and proven I am.... not needed!! lol - No.... only kidding but .... almost!! There are so many exciting developments going on I just had to get back into the groove with the video content and share the excitement! It actually makes me feel better too - sharing my passion with you and the others - all helps focus the mind on positive things. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and i'm sorry I wasnt available to say hi. I cannot tell you how grateful I am - so thank you. Also - Yes - Dowina..... what can I say..... just that I am so proud to be flying the flag for them alongside my other small but perfectly formed selection of guitars which I hope you will agree are "jaw dropping" :) :) THANKS AGAIN.

@@RichardsGuitarshop I'm so sorry to hear that you have been going through a difficult time and I genuinely do wish you all the best for both yourself and your family. I can certainly relate with regards to the mental health stuff as I have struggled with it all my life and it is particularly bad at the moment. It's been a real struggle to be honest with you and all this Covid-19 stuff has only made it worse. But I'm delighted to see that you are back and hopefully turning a corner. But I say to you now that never stop sharing your passion. It's so refreshing for so many of us guitar players out there. We really do appreciate it. And rest assured, when it's time for me to buy my next electric guitar, there will be only one place that I'll be coming to ;-). All the best!

Richard, keep using the adjectives of your choice, on the spur of the moment and don't worry what anyone may think of your use of descriptive words. Your enthusiasm for the guitars you sell is so evident and it always comes over in a natural, unforced way. Besides, the guitars you stock are all " Jaw Dropping " Peace and love brother x

I fully expect my jaw to hit the floor when I visit your shop to collect my Dowina Acero Jumbo - which was ‘inspired’ by your video on one! If you’d said ‘sort of OK, go for it if you want, worth a punt etc’ then it may have affected my enthusiasm a tad. May your jaw continue to drop.

I am really thinking hard about getting an Eastman AC422ce... I was floored by the comparisons to Taylor that you made. I have never really been into name brands, but with guitars I was set on buying a Taylor a couple of months ago. I came across one of your vids and started doing research. My first Acoustic that I bought about 2 years ago was a Yamaha FG830. I loved the sound of that guitar. So I bought it. To me sound is more important than name brand. Kind of new to guitars and tone woods, but I am learning. Thanks for all the Vids you make, they have been a great help.

We all have phrases that we often use to express our opinion on a guitar that makes you want to hold it and play it. The best advice that i was given is that if a guitar does not say "Play Me", don't buy it. Just keep expressing yourself in a way that you are comfortable with. If you watch any KZfaq reviewer long enough, they all say the same phrase when a guitar realy appeals to them. It what makes us who we are.
