Do you think demanding a business analysis plan as an official deliverable like we do for project plans, test plans, OCM plans, etc. would help improve the probability of success on ERP projects?

The consulting firm implements the ERP in an environment where it is assumed that the business, for its part, has done the work of analyzing its business.

@@jamesfoxca Indeed, but few companies are willing to make a prior investment, the ideal is that it is not the same consulting firm that is going to do the implementation, because in the end, the consulting firm will do the same, analyze quickly and cheaply. The ideal is for the company to have someone internal who analyzes the business, improves its processes and with all this done, participates/leads the implementation and not the consulting firm.
