Interesting thoughts. I lived in India for about a year. While there, I was healthier than any other time in my life. The idea had occurred to me that the food I was eating was not GMO, not pesticided beyond recognition and frankly tasted better than anything (including organics) that i was eating at home the US. Indian food is cooked with spices that not only taste good but also have medicinal properties. All in all we could learn much from India in the time of Covid.

I think that less testing is an enormous factor. When you have a highly transmissible respiratory pathogen, you will have a lot of people who are near death anyway test positive. I just wonder how many people would test positive for the common cold and then subsequently die if we were to test for it.

@@mzs114 That is because India was ruled by Britain then. During First World War Britain's own soldier count was 700000, whereas Indian soldiers who fought for Britain was over 1.2 million. Now consider how Britain took almost everything from India at that time, Indian soldiers who returned back home did not receive proper healthcare hence the pandemic spread. Also, India supplied 170,000 animals, 3,7 million tonnes of supplies, jute for sandbags, and a large loan (the equivalent of about £2 billion today) to the British government in the World War 1. The total monetary value of these in today's money is 34billion pound. So, it is hard to recover from a pandemic after a war where you are used as the biggest cash cow of another country which does not even concern your people. Also I am not claiming that herbs are the cure.

@@bonchidude being vegan is not necessarily healthy. And dairy is not necessarily unhealthy. If you're a vegan, you are simply not getting enough healthy protein/fats, which are required for building healthy tissues within the body... There are good options and bad options for meat, but it is simply incorrect to say veganism is more healthy. In the specific case of Indians, about 80% of the population is protein deficient, and the average lifespan is about 69-70 years of age, which is 10 years less than majority obese US.

Keep coming with these videos. Can you talk more about obesity? I am a nurse and wow, my obese clients are typically low in vitamins D and Bs. I have discovered that when people truly understand what obesity is doing to them physically and mentally they are more likely to eat healthy and lose weight. Blue-eyed green-eyed and hazel-eyed clients are the ones I see with vitamin B deficiencies. Once these deficiencies are corrected their mental state improves! Blood sugars improve because they are less depressed thus more active and eating less. Ty for your dedication!

PPE,,,ect. so they they don't do enough testing, (2) Govt. hide all number, they are not telling true number of cases and death, Media under control of Ruling Party, so they are covering Govt. if you compare death declare by Govt. and number from funeral home, number declare by Govt is 1 and funeral home burn more than 100 bodies, huge different. so actual number are much much higher than declare by Govt., (3) if you have symptoms you have to go to private testing center who charge a lots of money, and most citizen are make day by day money to feed them self and frailly, so they can't afford to pay for testing, (4) once you have Covid, they pull you and put in hospital ( not real but in school or some where like in jail), also they lock up your family in home,

Thank you for this video. That is a good point about people being slimmer so their immune system is better. But I was wondering about the state of Hawaii. Hawaii has a very low infection rate of covid. I am sure the sun with the Vit D is a good factor in Hawaii but they do have issues with obesity. What are your thoughts on pineapple for the lungs and do you think that might of aided the spread, prevention or healing of the covid ?
@CB-wq9wp
@CB-wq9wp 3 жыл бұрын
We have low Covid in Hawaii because it is an island way out in the middle of the ocean, and have been enforcing quarantine on anyone who comes here. Tourism is picking back up recently, but was reduced to almost nothing for the past year. Along with schools, bars, live music and other venues being closed. Also, mask wearing is pretty strictly enforced.

India has been treating with Ivermectin with great success, illness is cleared in 12-24 hours. Wish the USA would follow suit as it is a very safe, old, inexpensive medication that treats all the variants as well. All about big dollars here.

Latest surge in Covid infection suggests that Indians are no different from people of any other place on earth. Everybody became so complacent seeing low number of cases, now reached a point there are shortage of hospital beds and oxygen in most parts of India. Hope all efforts are made to contain the virus at the earliest stage, so that situation wont go out of control.

Excellent analysis, Dr. Dhand. I’d like to add that Indians consume a whole lot more quantity of natural herbs and spices like garlic, turmeric, chilli, ginger, kothmir, puddhina, dhania, jeera, tamarind, Kokam etc. (sorry, I don’t have time to look up funny sounding English names) than other parts of Western countries. These condiments have been named and detailed in Ayurved with their medicinal properties. That is a bigger factor than what you have enumerated (sorry doc, no disrespect to you). Another factor is that a vast majority of Indian babies have been breast-fed by their mothers unlike their figure-conscious counterparts. It is something to think about.

Unfortunately this isn't aging well. India's numbers are skyrocketing, possibly due to mutations in the virus. Higher numbers of young people are also being effected. Both good reasons to take the vaccine.

What a difference a few weeks makes?! Pure naive complacancy and Govt ineptitude causing totally unnecessary suffering and excess deaths. The Gov't have had months to get sorted but sat on their hands, according to people who live there. Despite India having the world's largest vaccine producing capacity the vaccination programme is only in its ealy stages, so who agreed to millions attending Kumbh Mela and hoards at election rallies, large crowds at weddings, all predominantly maskless and without social distancing?? The news is saying as of 22 April " On Friday India reported 332,730 new cases of coronavirus, setting a world record for a second day running. Deaths were numbered at 2,263 in 24 hours." Lack of testing means the real figures are way higher than reported ones. Oxygen and supplies are running out in some hospitals, mass funeral pyres running 24/7, people being turned away in droves from hospitals 'cause they are full, desperate health staff run ragged, people dying waiting, untreated. Did they not look at laissez-faire Bolsonario's Brazil's chaos of oxygen running out a month ago and then 4000 dead a day including babies and children and think that won't happen to us? Brazil who are having to intubate without sedative in some cases due to lack of supplies, whilst their leader tells the populace to ' stop whinging'. The harrowing news footage coming out of India shows this is what an over run health system looks like. Shame on those responsible, they should be held accountable. Due to their utter incompetence the 'double mutant' Indian variant is now in other countries thanks also to the farcical policy of open borders. The likes of Australia, Zealand shut borders at at the start of the pandemic and they are mostly Covid free and living life near normal. If we had all done the same there wouldnt have been a pandemic. The WHO is completely culpable in this debacle also as they knew damn well what was coming out of China late 2019 but did nothing to prevent spread.

No people live as close to each other in such numbers, and sometimes squalor. Great natural immunity and use of HCL. MY sister has been on it for about 10 years and the doctor never warned her concerning dangers of taking it. When cv appeared and the pharmacists got paid off for overstepping their bounds, she had a hard time getting it for a while (for inflammation of knees).☀️
