Exactly like, 10 years?!? I'd expect him to put in effort and make it emotional.... just.. a moment to remember. My dad told me that once him and my mom were in the 4 year mark of their relationship he thought about planning a special proposal and for that WHOLE year he was planning. Officially once 5 years hit..he proposed. My mom still remembers that day. Sure, you don't have to do an over the top thing but PUT effort and make it speak love. show the person you TRULY want to stay with them. (My dad and mom have been married for about 25 years..i think- XD)

I felt so bad for her,,I don’t know if that’s me reading into things too much but the entire video it’s almost like she slowly realises what a person she’s truly been with for these 10 years. Proposing in a car (she didn’t even care about what kind of ring it was I think, she was just upset that he didn’t even try to do something romantic), filming her without her consent, refusing to accept her answer, not leaving her alone and starting to take her stuff from her cause “he payed for it”. Like holy shit, by the end of that video I was so disgusted by him, and I feel like she just didn’t see his true colours until that moment. I bet that she feels bad that she wasted 10 years on that guy, but to be honest, it’s good that she realised now and dumped him, before they went more serious. She says that she wanted the ring earlier, but I feel like she would agree to a proposal if he at least took her somewhere, but man, I felt so furious watching this guy argue with her. He just didn’t hear what she said, he thought that buying a nice ring means she will accept anything. She honestly handled the situation pretty well. She was emotional, but she still respected him, even though he went complete 1st grade fucking argument, insulted her and said how “ungrateful” she is. Like, dude, why don’t you show the world how wonderful she is, but yet you decide to film how she doesn’t want to do what you tell her to. Girl deserves better, I hope she left him for good and didn’t come back

Honestly, this video triggered my fight or flight. Like Crystal said, he could've made the occasion more romantic by taking her to dinner instead of in A CAR - very dangerous. I would've done the same as her, but she was too kind in handling things. I also find it interesting how the man switched up on her after she kept rejecting him. He went from "please! accept it - why are you not accepting it? It doesn't make sense." to "OMG women... so ungrateful - ykw? forget you", which honestly showed his TRUE COLORS. The fact that he won’t stop recording her after she asks multiple times, to show how “ungrateful” she is and he wants people to see that he is the victim, and because he can’t get hid money back, what is recording her going to go? And when she was recording him she didn’t show his face without his consent is shocking, granted how she has been treated. This makes me furious beyond belief and she deserves better ❤️

My parents waited 25 years to get married, but only because I have 2 mums, and the Australian laws prevented them from marriage. If they could choose, they would have gotten married within 5 years. But people out there actually have a choice and are able to get married, and they take that for granted, and end up like this.

OMG. That is one of the worst proposals I’ve ever seen, if someone proposed to me like that I would personally get out of that car and walk home to pack my things. There is no way I am staying in that car when this man has the audacity to put absolutely no thought into one of the biggest commitments in life, also after 10 years of having time to plan it, and has the nerve to film me. My parents love walking, so my dad proposed on a walk, in a nice holiday place, on my mums terms, that’s simple, but thoughtful, she has the absolute right to break it off with him, he can keep that cheap ring.
