Why are most bad players like this?
This is an online matches video where I faced a pretty average Scorpion player who thought was better than he actually is and wasn´t too pleased with the outcome of the set.

So far I’ve noticed that the most toxic players are the less skilled ones, which means that they spend more time complaining than practicing to get better. If you play for fun, just have fun. If you play to win, just spend time improving yourself rather than telling others how to play the game or getting mad whenever you lose. Just a friendly advice.

😅😅 it did, but at the same time after the first match I tried be nice by telling him that I’ve also made the same mistake that ended up costing him the match.

Scorpion is honestly one of my hardest match ups mainly because of how the good scorpions play him. Very defensive and need to open up to punish, which is one of my weaknesses, I rush too much in this match up😂

I know what you mean, Scorpion relies on spacing. Other than that he’s a very lackluster character, no mixups, projectiles or command grabs. By the way who’s your main?

@@CRead227 currently kung lao, having a projectile is god sent haha. I used to play smoke but he has so many gaps.

Just lost to a Liu kang and jax back off and zone duo, anytime I could get close he grabbed and called out Jax again. These people can’t be having fun doing that

That’s just crazy, the thing is that there are other character/Kameo combinations that are as lame as that. I faced a Lao/Janet combination who kept spamming his armor attack and summoning Janet to make it safe, it was impossible to counter. IMO there should be the option of switching characters in between matches during the sets, that would allow players to pick a different character and make things a little more even.

He canNOT sit there and tell you that he can also do spacing, he whiffed so many times.💀 Edit: I counted 8 whiffs and you took advantage of 7 of them.😂

Exactly what I told him lol, the crazy thing is that a character like Scorpion relies heavily on spacing out opponents. If you can’t do that then you’ll have a hard time getting wins. Also he was random jumping and throw spamming, but to be honest I don’t even think he knows what spacing really is.

It is crazy man, it really sux whenever they get that dub off you like that. But in most cases I noticed that these type of players have a poor gameplay and most of the time they end up losing and getting salty about it. Appreciate the support.

Enjoyed watching you play I definitely learned some new stuff watching you play as Scorpion!! I definitely agree with you that the people that are the most toxic definitely do not know how to use their character and kameo!! As for me I don't play KL I only am a casual player so I only play Invasions and Story Mode. I don't fight others online since I'm honestly very bad! I cannot seem to be able to do combos or any air moves seems my mind blanks and I cannot remember the button inputs and also my fingers cannot keep up! However I really enjoy MK1 so hopefully eventually I can learn at least 1 air move or combo! It's my first MK game so it's been a huge learning curve! I'll definitely be taking notes of your gameplay so this way I can learn how to improve my gameplay!

I’m glad you enjoyed watching, if you allow me to give you a few tips I’d recommend you start off by learning your main character’s basic strings and special moves. Then you’ll be able to make short combos and as you practice you’ll be able to make longer combos, once you’ve familiarized with your character, then pic a kameo that works well alongside that character and I’m sure you’ll become a better player in no time. Remember that patience is key.

@@CRead227 Sure any and all tips I'm very grateful for so tysm!! I'm not sure what strings are though since all the technicial terms with this game I have no clue what they mean aside from kombos ;-; Also I have the switch ver not sure if that might very slightly effect my ability as far as how fast/slow the game recognizes specific button or joystick inputs since it is a degraded ver of MK1 but then again there are switch players that are very good so i defs need practice regardless! Ty for the encouragement as well btw! Have had this game since Christmas and I'm still struggling but ofc I have improved since Day 1!

@@kpopevefancams strings are basically the characters basic attacks, for example with Scorpion you can do 1, 2, 1 or 2, 1, 2. On switch it means either X, Y, X or Y, X, Y. You can use those for combos, then you can use special moves to extend combos. I also highly recommend you play the tutorial, it will teach you the games mechanics.

I don’t like the ones that ignore you at the beginning of the match remain muted. Then at the end of match when they lose or win the want to talk 😂 I still say gg bro

I’ve faced a lot of those as of late, but whenever it happens at least 85% of them are toxic and the rest are decent ones 😅

She’s simply way too easy to use, she can burn your meter and easily extend combos. So I agree.

@@Prosziniocharacters like Omni-Man barely benefit off of her but characters like Smoke can easily get 40-50% from her and either using no meter or just 1 bar. Scaling and balance is awful with these characters

I main sub and have to work for my wins. I pick my pocket Johnny cage and steamroll most players. Must be a skill issue

It’s definitely a skill issue, while nothing really is 100% I would dare to say that 90% of these salty trash talkers are just bad players who think they are better than they actually are.
