Why Are osu!mania Shorts So Popular?

Күн бұрынI remembered my YT password!!!!! Today we'll be taking look at the YT Shorts genre and seeing what osu!mania content is being posted on there. I was kinda surprised by what I found and now I'll show you what I think about it.

I feel like the reason some of these osu!mania shorts gain so many views is because most of the people watching them don't actually play rhythm games. For example, Sujak's short with 2.8 million views has such a high view count because a new player might think that more kps = harder map, making them comment and push the video further.

Not only are they new players, it’s also people that shit on us osu! Players. This one osu!standard short I believe have 2M views (not entirely sure) and it’s mostly people saying “osu! Players try to get outside and touch grass impossible.” It’s very fucking annoying. It’s a mixture of both new players or players in general, with people that shit on osu! Players for no reason.

Im surprised sv maps dont get as much attention from shorts as other skillsets since from the pov of a person who hasnt played a rhythm game sv's should be just as satisfying which i think is the main reason these shorts get the attention they do
