Their indirect expressions seem to convey a sense of pride in not learning their mother tongue.🤨

Speak English without using Nepali words. You are not fluent in English or Nepali.

Common you guys are speaking just like Modern day Uncle\Aunty Toms.... Frankly speaks volumes about your roots... Hearing you guys makes us realize you are still suffering from colonial hangover, even though Nepal was never colonized.

Good to hear that most of your family members speak in newari, Sushant. I am happy to help you learn and speak in Newari. And talking about mixing Nepali and English. It's absolutely annoying. It's not hard to speak English fluently. Just practice speaking English daily for an hour. Trust me you will be fine in 2 years. Also, listening to English news and podcasts. Those sorts of things help you but you have to maintain consistency for 1-2 years.

If given the circumstances of only speaking either English or Nepali to these celebrities I think most of them have to struggle in both. I think niti is one of the perfect example of having not command in both languages that’s why people get bashed .

It's not accurate to say that French people don't know English; in fact, many Europeans are proficient in English but prefer to preserve their native languages and culture. They speak English only when necessary. While it's acceptable to use some English words in Nepali, but alternating between English and Nepali can seem awkward.

These people are not fluent in either of the language. And because of that lack, how facile their talks.
