I would like to learn about your motivation for becoming Muslim considering a few issues I have. Do you believe the idea that Allah left his people in the dark for at least over 600 years until he brought his 'final revelation' (which was a copy and paste job of stories from the Jewish Talmud, and Ramadan fasting being copied from the star worshippers (Sabians) who fasted everytime they saw the moon. This includes a false claim of Mecca being found in Psalm 84:6 and Abraham going to Mecca to build the Kaaba!) How does Allah in all his wisdom endorse the Gospels which turn out to be totally contradict everything about Allah and Islam? Why does Allah use a prophet (Mohammed) to delive a Quran that contradicts the prophecies and characters of all the old testament prophets and who is not from the line of Isaac? Is it the claim in the Quran that Mohammed is prophesied in the Bible true?

Why couldn't Muhammad tell the difference between Satanic verses and verses from Allah? Why does the Qur'an give authenticity to both the Torah and the Injil which was revealed before Muhammad existed and, was present at the time of Muhammd's forebears and his own existence? Surah 10:94 says, "If you were in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before you: the Truth has indeed come to you from your Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt." The logic of Surah 10:94 is grounds for Muslims to accept the authenticity of today's Bible, which existed in Muhammad's time and before then, in Hebrew, Greek and Arabic. Besides that, many Muslim scholars use words from both Torah and the Injil to prove that Muhammad is in the Bible. But how can this be the case, when Muslim scholars and their disciples claim both the Torah and the Injil are corrupted? Why use corrupted books to prove that your prophet is in those books? And besides that, Allah says that his word, his books cannot be corrupted. Why does the Qur'an say that prophet-hood came from the children of Israel (Jacob - see Genesis 32:28, God changed Jacob's name to Israel, which means ruler with God)? Surah 46:16 - "And truly We gave the children of Israel the Scripture, and the command and the orophet-hood, and provided them with delicious sustenance and preferred them above all mankind." Surah 29:27 "And to (Abraham) We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and made Exclusively his offspring the Prophet-hood and Revelation." Muhammad was not an offspring of Jacob. So how can Muhammad then be a prophet of Allah? Why does the Qur'an contradict itself in the order of things created? Surah 79:27-32, show that the heaven was created first, night and brightness, "AND AFTER THAT He spread the earth", and extracted its water and pasture, and the mountains. In Surah 41:9-12, there is a different order. "....He created the earth in two days..." "And He placed on it firmly set mountains over its surface..." "THEN He directed Himself to heaven while it was smoke and said to it and the earth, 'Come into being...."

John 14v9: Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? No man who ever lived or lives on this earth can say such a thing except Jesus alone because He is God. Some will challenge this saying "Oh Jesus said: 18“Why do you call Me good?” “No one is good except God alone." (Mark 10v18). Well in fact what the Lord Jesus is doing here, he is addressing to the Jews by just playing on words. He is telling them you call me good but you do not believe that I am God (remember they stoned him for saying He is the Son of God). Yet you call me good, however no one is good except God. So here he is clearly confronting the jews about their belief of who He is. He is God because only God is good. And if you are not convinced yet, then read John 11v25. I was a neighbour to a Muslim with whom I had a fairly good relationship. Through him I became aware that we shared the same Abrahamic faith which I really found interesting because I had never been totally clueless. I began learn the relationships between the two faiths and listening to figures like Deedat, Zaiker Naik, Christian Prince and David Wood. I have a Quran app on my phone. I've head to reconsider whether muslims and christians worship the same God since we both believe in the worship of one God (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob). Or are there two God's with one borrowing from the other more or less the same language (merciful, creator, heaven, sin, righteousness, peace, love, good works, judgement) and historical timeline and figures (Adam, Abraham, Moses, Gabriel/Gebreel and Jesus/Isa) with both claiming the same identity? Or is it a case of forgery of one God by the other? The one God says the Torah and Injeel (gospel) are unalterable/incorruptible because they are his eternal word (SQ 5:43 and 6:115). The one has a begotten/unique Son (the Messiah Jesus) and the other has no son but a messenger (Muhammad) who is the best of his creation. Strangely the angel Gabriel has totally opposing messages in the bible and in the Quran! In the book of Luke he tells Mary she will bear a son and his name shall be called 'Son of the Most High'. In the Quran Gebreel, the same angel, says Allah does not have a son and is father to no one! The Son says in his own words that he will be crucified for the salvation of many, but the other says Jesus was not crucified. He made it 'appear to them as if they had killed him'. Can a divine, eternal and all knowing God ever be at war with himself in this fashion?

Can a Christian who know his God accept Islam? First decide whether Allah is the same God spoken through Jesus or not? Please decide whether same God can give such contradicting messages, over a span of just 600 years?
