So to buy him, we're probably going to have to add another 30% or so to his value over a non-English player. That'll take him away from what Arsenal will probably want to pay. Pro - He's a London lad. He wants to stay in London and he _said_ he wants to play Champions League football and that he wants to come to Arsenal. But then Mudryk said the same thing and look what happened there. Con - Can we can afford him now that Chelsea are currently ruining the transfer market by jumping in at the last moment and offering millions over the asking prices and paying players outlandish salaries to lure them away? Probably not. Pro - Chelsea won't be in Europe next season unless they win the Champions League. Which they won't. _Hopefully!_

I agree I think Arteta will upgrade him into a complete footballer. And he will fit perfectly as an 8, pretty sure of that. As for Xhaka, I think even if Arteta adds another n8 next to Rice, it would be just enough to play the 4 competitions (PL, CL and 2 cups). But for his physicality and mentality, I think this player was born to play 55 games per season at the high level for several years. He looks like that

That's not entirely true. Aubameyang and in my opinion Nketiah fits very bad with the way Arsenal likes to play. Tierney seems to have a bit of a problem too despite being a very talented player.

I think it's because he plays at west ham and his receivers may not be in the best positions to receive a pass safely. Good players will take it upon themselves to hold the ball because they know if they pass the receiver will lose it anyway.

Naah there are very good players in westham who don't lose ball easily..his too much dribbling will cost arsenal when they play against a united or spurs or Liverpool team that are quick on the counter..not world class

My hope is a midfield of Partey, Xhaka, Rice and Savic and then Patino can come in slowly just like what Foden did at City. I dream I know but that midfield would be a disaster for any other competing team meating Arsenal, they would hate it.
