My favorite thing is when they say it looks like a 2010 game when it's not even i beta yet. It's like visiting a house that's being built and it's only bricks for now, and someone say it's looks like an abandoned building, it doesn't even have paint on it.

Good things come to those who wait. Kinda feel the same about Ashes. Might not be perfect when it drops but I'm sure it'll be something we can all enjoy.

Yeah people forget how buggy and bad launches the early MMOs had. It is unfortunate that MMOs take even longer to develop now than they did, wish it had become more streamlined. Hoping AI will help with the graphics models since that is what added a bit of extra overhead costs and time.

For people who understand Development, you're not saying anything we dont already know, I dont really care either way as this game probably wont appeal to me, But if i was to give ammunition to the people who are complaining about how long this Developer is taking it would not be about release but more about the systems they brag about, even 3 years in if you're charitable 5 years if you're going off their own timeline, They have yes to show how they think these systems are going to work at scale, how they're going to avoid pitfalls of gamers who tend to abuse every loop hole they can find, Infact all of the systems and player control elements are far far far more important to show and progress on than the recent combat animations, Animations are basic, other MMOs add new animations ever 1 - 2 years, this is not the important part of their MMO, so if i was actually invested in this game, i would be asking for a hell of a lot more of the player run stuff than they have deemed to talk about let alone show. This should be a concern, worst case scenario you're going to get a MMO launch with expected combat expected open world, expected questing, but the things that this MMO brags about will be under cooked or under served. I'm happy to be wrong btw, if their next Alpha includes thorough testing by actual players of the player run systems at ALL levels, including the progression and destruction of said systems, I will say they're on good pace, if not, I will warn all AoC hype beasts, to be prepared for this game to launch without the complex systems at all, if it launches.

people always forget that it should be way easier and faster to do anything, the engines are 5000000 times better than 20 years ago, still games take longer and lets be honest most have even less content/quality.

People are so impatient because they have nothing better to do. Ashes went from a super small studio and now have like 200 staff members. Since they started hiring the game has progressed amazingly to the point where its not hard to believe that many systems and biomes are completed just not polished. Because they dont just showcase everything to date the haters take that as "this is all they have completed. A few classes, and a riverlands biome in 8 years". They see that goblin that was bugged out and spinning like a ball in place and apply that to everything. Huffing that hatium when they could be drowning in copium

Sadly I think they are running out of time/money. Sincerely hope I'm not right 😢. With guild wars 3 in development hoping they will kick up a gear and get it released asap

The cope for ashes is real just accept y’all are getting scammed out of your time waiting for a game that is the star citizen of mmo’s and you say every mmo has a smaller scope but in reality you probably just suck at game with slightly difficult mechanics 👁👄👁.

well when people at work have a deadpool going to see which potential scam game will release first being between ashes of creation or star citizen..... you know your game is a bit wack. the game has a huge chance of ending up like new world with its tile system... hopefully not
