I love being alone. Solitude is one of the greatest things in existence. I wish I could have an island away from humans for 6-12 months just to have a break and not see anybody. Being single is great too. No expectations from anybody and you can do whatever you want whenever with noone to answer to. I look at all the people in relationships and I don't see alot of happy people. They're just stuck with people they don't necessarily like because they don't want to be alone. I couldn't think of anything worse than being codependent or having to need somebody. Independence and self sufficiency is underrated. People rely too much on other people for their happiness. True happiness can only come from within yourself.

I know being alone isn’t all that bad. You’ll survive. But it can still hurt you and bother you when you have no one to talk to.

I love being alone - i do most things alone. Its so much easier than waiting for others to get ready or even keep their word on the plans made. Being alone has made me so inspired to get a bunch of creative projects completed. I can finally focus on my goals instead of listening to people talk about other people that got on their nerves or whatever. I go for walks in nature almost everyday. I love the peace and quiet. I am on a glorious path and focused on my own greatness. I get excellent grades in my college courses and have won awards for my journalistic writing, something I never thought possible. My photography is improving, and I am finally halfway to my Associate Degree after struggling to get here for the past 14 years. If I still had a woman in my life, I feel like I would be held back by insurmountable obstacles. Yes, I miss the companionship, the intimacy, having someone there when I feel low and distracted, but for what? My last ex told me, "Your camera is creating distance!" Well, now there are miles between us. And it's for the best. It's been years now and I miss her deeply, but I am more self-sufficient now than ever before. Someday someone will see me for who I truly am, and will earn my attention and love.

I live like a christian vegetarian monk and what matters to me is being a better person, i just try to make progress and be a better person day after day (no matter how the rest of the world behave). Surviving is relatively easy for me, my expenses and my needs are extremely low. I have plenty of time too, and there are so many things of my interest that i would love to explore , learn and work on , that it's hard for my to choose one or two of those things. I am currently walking about 12 miles almost every day, and as silly as it may sound (just walking) , the experience is being quite amazing and i am happy! I also spend some free time to help relatives occasionally if they need (but without too much contact, just symbolic to let them know that I am there but setting limits to avoid any parasitation ). I split from a narcissist 3 yrs ago, stayed single and never socialised just focused on me, money, building my home and business and campervan. I now have so many options and choices that only the weather forecasts determine what I do or where I go. I took up treasure hunting and found a meteorite worth 600k, gold nuggets galore in the mountains and rivers and I've bought a 1200 cc bike and I ride with the outlaws mc when I got time... if you're feeling alone, use the time for you do not let the time use you....the rest you will find on the paths you choose lads..

Same here, Canada bro. Partied a little bit in high school then stopped once I became an adult. This is what differentiates us from most other people. Most of the kids that I knew turned into dumpster fires when they graduated from College with massive drug and alcohol habits. Very sad.

Why do you keep making video after video, about being alone? I tried going off KZfaq for awhile, like you suggested. I didn't like it. Too lonely-feeling. I read a book and watched my movies. But, still felt lonely. I don't have any women friends, where I live; just a female covert narc next-door neighbor. I never, ever seem to have good neighbors that I could become friends with. BUT...I've come across women out shopping and at other places that I COULD become friends with. I'm going to start carrying a little notebook, to write my phone number down on, so that I can start making the right women friends.
