Its a rough phase for bollywood Lekin apna time bhi aayega Toh kya hua agar 4-5 filmein nahi chali toh Yes bollywood has its own set of flaws but making fun of an industry just does not make sense to me. Last year when Bollywood films were working big time and south was unable to perform in hindi except jailer leo and salaar, did we make fun of south? Absolutely not. If you are a real cinema lover then you cant just ridicule an industry like this. Yes the problems existing in bollywood with respect to the craft of filmaking, the lack of conviction and confidence in makers like Ali Abbas zafar, Rohit Shetty, Siddharth Anand, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Raj Kumar Hirani , Kabir Khan etc who were pillars of Bollywood at one point of time, who could guarantee 300 cr success are underperfoming and needs to be taken care of but not this way like the 2 individuals are doing. Bollywood will be back im pretty sure and tab inlogo ki bolti band hogi

If movie flops badly at box office,then ott platforms will not take interest to buy the film. That's why ott agreements are being done earlier for safe side. Atleast somewhat producer may recover from OTT deal.

Math is a science, only two movies have reach and surpassed 1000 crores at India box office Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 both from the South , Bollywood is a nightmare bad copy of Hollywood. SRK took 32 years to reached 1000 crore for the first time. KGF 2 is a real blockbuster 100 crore budget , box office at home 1,008 crore and worldwide 1200-1250 crore. Jawan 300 crore budget and Pathaan 225 crore plus 15 crore PR =240 crore . Baahubali 2 still unbeaten at Indian box office. SRK still need to reach 1000 crore at home box office, Jawan gross collection in India 761.98 crore and Pathaan 654.28 crore at home. 😀

Bollywood content needs to improve. Same old Pakistan bashing, same old corruption n cops, rubbish remix songs, these days propaganda movies which peddle lies etc. do not encourage me to come to cinema. There is so much traffic, expense and headache to even reach your nearest mall now. So unless content dramatically improves, don’t expect anything.
