you are spot on when it comes to Boost Mobile my experience has been absolutely horrible and time waisted I'm talking hours upon hours wasting my breath speaking to a phone rep and the same thing goes for in store. I've been using mint mobile since 2019 with absolutely no problems. Although, the customer service is not the best but, you hardly ever need them. They may be more tolerable than boost mobile.

Last year I bought a Moto 5G Stylus phone from Boost Mobile for $60, I thought I could sign up for the new customer $10/mo plan that my friend has, but they only allowed the $42/mo unlimited plan. I cancelled after 2 months, and went to cricket.. but since it's been a year I wonder if they would let me sign up for the $10 plan now, or will this phone always be locked to $42/mo.

You’ve accurately described all in person carrier stores and even most of the customer service over the phone too. None of them know what they’re doing and they get easily offended if you know more than they do. Verizon is by far the worst offender because my local store won’t even greet customers and they insist all deals have to be on the expensive phone plan that’s well over $100 a month. Since I love tech I even applied to work at a few carrier stores but they won’t hire me despite the fact the people working there don’t know half of what I do. It’s a joke quite honestly.
