Although you were right about the supply of booster cookies decreasing, the comparison of god pots to cookies isnt very reliable due to 2 factors: firstly fame rank, in 2021 the fame rank of the majority of players was either the bottom one or one level up, meaning that they get less god pots per cookie. However now on average the fame rank is higher meaning more god pots are created per player. Secondly iron man profiles are a big contributor to the rise as they can only buy cookies not sell them, meaning they raise the price of cookies but do not effect the price of god potions as they cannot sell them.

I think the best way to combat this is extend the cookie time from 4 days to something like a Skyblock year (5 days and 4 hours). More time = less demand = price go down.

Another big problem with this rapid upswing of the cookie economy is for people that are trying to get into skyblock (especially ironman). It can be a big turnoff to login and see that this item that all the big youtubers talk about how you always need, costs so much.

With the god potion ratio, its important to remember that as time passes, people get MORE money for their cookies. With my fame rank, I get almost 7,700 bits per cookie, which is far more than the 4000-5000 i wouldve gotten when cookies were first introduced. That could easily contribute to the disparity we see in cookie purchasing power

Hey dude one factor that you should take into consideration for thee price of cookies from a year or two ago is a lot more people were playing the game due to lockdowns caused by covid so the supply of cookies would have been at a high compared to the current date i highly doubt there are as many active players at the same time as there was during peak covid this will 100% play a factor into the low supply slap inflation on top of that every thing seems to add up 👍

The price of booster cookies were over 6 million coins way before the Garden Update. They have been raising for a while now. The reason why is called the Law of Supply and Demand. Less players are buying cookies and selling them so the price goes up for the ones on the market.

2 ways they could cheapen the cookies for gems is maybe not do a skin for a fire sale but do cookies as a fire sale. And/or make them cheaper for 1 month during the summer

It also might be the fact that Fiesta is "back" way more frequently. Before we had around 4 months without a single Fiesta

ik this is a month old but it could be a craftable using obtainable low-mid game items from all skills to craft one cookie w/ a skyblock level cap of 75 (whatever range needed im just throwing it out there) to craft said cookie so early game cant just fill the supply and drop price. Something like how recoms can be farmable but still sell for a good amount.

Cookies are very useful and they are also consumable. But the main problem is that they are the only source of bits. Bits are used for buying a lot of useful items and most of them are consumable as well. Everyone wants god potions and kismet feathers - almost every F7/M7 player spends over 2 cookies of bits per day on kismets and a lot of players buy a god potion at least once a week. Also there are talismans, pet rulers, abiphone contact slots, enchantment books for tools, dyes, minion upgrades, etc. Bits are used for doing enchantment experiments. Another important reason is that no matter how expensive cookies are, you will get most money back from bits or even all and gain profit if your fame rank is high enough. There is just no reason to not buy them when you get almost all your money back + gain a very useful cookie buff and fame. I personally consumed over 7 years worth of cookies and that was mostly for bits. I was actually wondering for a long time why cookies are so cheap. Most players spend money on fire sales and some of them even just irl trade instead of buying cookies.

One other possibility that would help inflation would be for fame ranks to add more bits per cookie. That would directly translate into more god pots per cookie.

My idea to help the cookie economy is that when Elisabeth visit your garden she have a chance to give you one (like 5%) it would lowered the price to probably 2/3 of what they are and it would be easier for Ironman and stranded players to get them

possible solution... idk but check it out no more npc selling you can't buy gemstones on bz for less than their npc price was (so basically same money for miners but from players instead of npc) same thing for garden - make it so u can't buy crops for less than their npc price was. this shouldn't have a large effect on peoples' money because the bz still has a lower limit on pricing but it should drastically reduce inflation also add /trash bc training weights r annoying

The reason bits dont make back a cookie is the fact that people are getting more bits per cookie so still van rebuy even if sold for less which than forces others to also sell for less not making back a cookie (not sure if this makes since but basically from 2 yes ago to now you make more bits per cookie)

I think the farming update actually helped with the inflation. Mining creates 30-40m per hour. Farming only like 10-20m. Many more people are farming now. That means slightly less money is pumped into the economy.

the inflation from the garden is much worse than the crystal hollows cause for a max mining setup you need close to 600m and tons of hours powder grinding, while farming just needs farming skill and like 200m then you're making close to the max amount of money

Well one thing that would change the supply of godpots would be the amount of money you make from each bit. Right you get 1270 couns/bit from Critical chance enrichments, while you get 800coins/bit from gpots A better method to test how the economy has changed would be to take the top coins/bit then and compare to top coins/bit now in relation to the price of booster cookies

Ironman players even are going to struggle with this, especially newer Ironman players. The only way it sounds like for cookies to decrease in price is to either buy more cookies with money and that’s it for Ironman players it sounds like. It sucks to be honest because I’m on Ironman and it took me a bit to grind for my first cookie. It sucks, but that’s how the SkyBlock economy works.

Well there would be a surge in cookie demand when updates happen because the updates would draw people back in to the game and therefor increase the amount of people wanting a cookie, there would not be a surge in supply since not all the new people or the people coming back to skybloack want to spend real money on booster cookies

I've noticed many problems in this in this: 1. Fame rank is not taken in to account. in 2021, the average fame rank was significantly lower than it is now. This means that the supply of bits *has* significantly changed. 2. The idea that supply stays the same is also absurd. Every time an update released, people log back on for the first time in a while. This makes them need a booster cookie and therefore the prices rise. 3. There was just a holiday. People probably got $10-20 of skyblock gems for Easter. That means that people aren't going to be buying more gems for a while and therefore prices will continue to drop. 4. The rise of IRL trading has meant that people who are buying Booster Cookies to sell instead of eat has decreased as people have realised they can get significantly better rates with IRL trading (not an ad, just a fact) 5. Derpy was just mayor. During derpy, you are unable to buy god pots or pretty much any other bits item. This led to people simply buying booster cookies to make their own bits. This is show by how booster cookies have dropped since derpy. 6. The addition of new bits items. This is the most important one in my opinion. There are now untradable items (sacks) that cost 12k bits. The untradability means that people need to make their own bits to get these items. This is basically the same problem as derpy but 24/7 instead of a 4 day event.

1. if the player count has increased then both supply and demand for the cookies should increase but most likely at different rates since i would imagine not everyone new is willing to buy gems. 2. The devs certainly dont want the cookie price to drop since that would heavily influence the server itself as ( i think ) less people would be willing to buy coins with gems if they knew that a short time ago they would have had a much better rate 3. The next update (most likely wizard tower) in my opinion will be a money drain just to balance the conomy and make sure it doesnt inflate too much or deflate

Booster cookies and by extension the bit shop and godpots are VERY strong ... So strong that they have effectively warped the game around having them ... If you don't have them the game plays like trash or is borderline unplayable ... The borderline experience of hypixel is just bad ... And it's only gotten worse since the crimson isles update removed the ability to brew good potions by locking glowstone collection behind combat 24

Getting another cookie by selling the bits is a concept that works until everyone does it. There is only so much demand for bits items. Furthermore cookies at 7m isnt too bad you could still easely afford 2 cookies / hour doing farming if we compare it from back in the day to now
