Yes. Plus the over-all chemistry of the unit should become improved. (Last season the starters didn't play a single snap as a complete unit in the preseason, and Wirfs was adjusting to playing a new position.) The depth should be really solid as well.

Ben Bredeson is the free agent from the giants. I expect him to start at guard with Barton at Center. Hopefully, Mauch and Godeke continue to improve.

My BUCS got a monster of a offensive lineman. He stays healthy, adjust to playing center and I believe Baker will be a very happy quarterback. Bucs are building a offensive line for the upcoming season and beyond. We can get #1 R.W. busting through holes, Bucs offense is really going to be hard to stop!

If you need a center, draft a center. If he was the best offensive lineman at a LT, why would you plug him in at center - a position he hasn't played since being a Freshman?

@@toucantango1 Wirfs was a career RT who got put in at RT as a rookie. He thrived. Ali Marpet was a guard in college. he thrived. Donovan Smith career OT who excelled at OT. Look at the rest of them... Cody Mauch a OT. Hainsey a RT in college... There's a very big difference between playing center specifically and other positions on the OL... Barton has played as a center before, but not since freshman year... maybe the transition back to center will be seamless, but it seems like another bonehead Madden move where OL is this interchangeable musical chair position. Wirfs literally checked in with the team shrink when we moved him to LT... did we really need to take an elite RT and move him to LT? Pointless. Find a LT.

@@LynyrdSkynyrd-lu4bi Licht likes drafting tackles and making them guards or centers. Jensen was a T in college and turned into one of the best C in the NFL. LT are usually the most athletic players on the line and that translates into whatever position they play

Good video and coverage. Nit picking but please emphasize the “t” in Barton’s name. You often said Bar-en. Get on my kids often about how imporTant it is to speak correctly.
